okay i just completed old heim and i just got this vid recommended lol. okay so anyways, you can do this very cheap and takes about 30 min with 4 spears + 2 torches, and a blue mage staff for healing if you ignore all the random mobs u wont need. you get around 5 green weapons, 1 green armor and a blue weapon at best in my run. you may probably get more if you save ur novice lockpicks to open the good ones inside the well or you can save for opening all of them at once for new runs so yeah GL i would say its alright loot but not that great
honestly the loot is pretty garbage from the scout key thing when you talk to the scout npc he give u the "best".reward which is a full set of armor which is garbage they could buff this zone and give maybe a few more green weapons and green armor as the best as it is wayy more worth doing it even with cheap weapons
the zone is like an easier version of tombs but not really worth doing, maybe the developers tried to balance from ppl doing too many tombs as tomb bosses used to take control effects and slow effects it was pretty ez but now they made it immune so you are required to at least bring some healings or at least a decent green weapon to kill a red zone tomb boss. They probably made the change to give some recognition to the old heim zone as many ppl were doing tombs all at once for the ez and free loot so they probably used the old heim as a new way to adjust to their change they did
