great reading of "When God Created Mothers" for Mothers day. I had this recording on a tape from many years ago. I could not find it anywhere on the internet so I decided to create this video to share. I hope other people can share this with their mothers.
If anyone knows the original source of this reading let me know. I know the poem is written by Erma Bombeck but I do not know who does this reading. I would like to give them credit.
My mom was not perfect.I loved her with all my heart.She wasn't there for me all the time but I was there for her at all times to listen to respect her and to love her.Mom didn't know how to mother but I can proudly say that I became my mother's mother.
How can someone dislike this. Moms are great. We need some likes to show how much people love Moms.
I recall hearing broadcaster Bill Dollar on WSOC radio in Charlotte reading this. Soon after he was killed in an auto accident. I have been trying to find it also. He did such a beautiful job of reading it with the emotion it deserves. I am still looking for it too.
