It’s amazing how tolerant ragdolls are. You can do whatever you want to them and they don’t even care. Doesn’t matter how you hold them, where you pet them, it’s whatever. Ragdolls are so chill I love them!
I have a rag doll named Callee and when she stretches herself out it is a total attitude adjustment for myself every time I see her. You can’t help but smile😁
Mine likes it too. But if its enough for him, he will kick me with his foot. Never scratch or bite. So cute. He is even ok if I bury my whole face in his belly fur. He has the softest fur and heart. And he purrs everytime I touch or kiss him.

My Ragdoll--Felix is 21 years old! He lays around in those goofy positions all the time. When he goes I will be the saddest 70-year-old man on the planet. I will be too old to get another cat.
I'm so used to having him greet me at the door just like a dog would that's the way ragdolls are and no more greetings and it's always such a warm feeling when I drove up home to know that he would be there to greet me but those days are gone it breaks my heart I break into tears when I drive up home I am very very very very very sad

it was way complicated, given it is a breeded cat coming from the US, for example, there are 7 to 10 breeders in Western Europe, I have had to book in advance in 2013 from two different breeders, to get two males, that we have to castrate based on a contract! each for 450 euros at the time! believe it or not!
MHJ Albwathbhk yes I believe it. We’re going to adopt two rag dolls this fall and that cost us 1000 euros each. It’s worth it and I think every cat is worth it! Always!

But yeah if you’re hard up for cash you can get an older one for a few hundred
Well, mines broken. It basically does the opposite of a normal rag doll cat. And she’s allergic to something in cat food. We don’t know what, she’s loosing her hair more and more. •,-,•

My gf had one lounging on a sofa, not unlike Bowie in the video when I, a complete stranger, picked him up to transfer to a loveseat nearby. He went limp like a furry ragdoll, then stretched right out again on the loveseat. Hilarious and oh-so-adorable.

It must be something about rag dolls bone structure that is comfortable for them to lay on their back like that. They always want belly rubs, and curl their front two paws while we're laying on their back. Cutest thing in the world
We adopted a black Ragdoll from a rescue home. I cannot understand how anyone would abandon him as he is gorgeous and the most loving and gentle cat you can imagine.
I don’t know how anyone can hate cats. You can be scared of them, but hate them? I have a ragdoll kitten who is teething and his bites hurt, but I could never ever hate him. He’s so sweet and lovable.
This guy is gorgeous for sure. His paws may never actually touch the ground and he moves just by sliding around. Seriously though, there are countless deserving cats and kittens that you will love and adore that cost little to nothing and you will save them. You don't need to buy a bred cat.
We have a long-haired cat that also likes to spend time on her back. We surmised it is because [1] some of her longest hair is on her tummy, and therefore [2] laying on her back is the best way to cool off.
We have a ragdoll to and could swear this is our cat! So amazing how the mannerisms are so similar! Gorgeous cat. The Ragdoll breed is by far may favorite. I’ve had a Himilayan and we have two Birman girls and our Ragdoll boy.

She lays down and is close enough to me that I can rub her feet and finally drop off to sleep while I rub the end of her tail (the plume). She eventually moves off while the cabin is hot during the summertime. I have never been lucky enough to have such a sweet cat... she just goes through each day with a happy and smug face. The eyes have it!

Something I loved about my Ragdoll, Daphne was that she liked when I held and massaged her paws. I have never had a cat that tolerated that before.
