The abuse of history: fact and fiction in Irish sport after 1916

Synopsis: This lecture examines the place of sport in the Irish Revolution. It will, in particular, explore the manner in which the reality of the lived experience of sport has been misrepresented by people who seek to make propaganda from the past.
