GOODNESS!! My eyes were not prepared for all these tears today. I don't think I've ever seen a movie that shows what reading an intense book like that is like and makes you feel the intense emotion and turmoil. SUCH an amazing film and was not expecting the ending at all. So happy that their wedding was the one to end the disarray and that he showed her what his parents went through.
gosh this movie literally had me all up in my emotions.. my second time warching it and i still cant get over it. even if it was not in english most of the time but it was a good movie..

Maybe you can help clarify what happened in the end? Was the bride at the end the woman who was reading the book? Who was the older woman with the dark hair at the end? Was she the one the father of the groom was forced to marry to try to stop the fued? And, was she the mother of the bride, as well? I got kind of lost at the end...

This was the first Turkish movie I watched and ever since I’ve been in love with Turkish language and the people in general. I watched this 8-9 years ago when I was in college and I cried like a baby. Rewatching it again and still crying like a baby 😣❤️🩹

I watched this movie awhile ago and just came across it again, I literally felt the same emotions as before, on my second viewing. Such a wonderfully written and well acted movie.
I also came back 2nd time to watch this heart wrenching love story

The other lady's story was like: she tried to grew a flower that can never bloom in a dream that can never cime true😢
The story was really a deep one filled sacrifices in orders to make sure that the belived one lives
The brother was kind as he doesn't tell the truth to hamza at that time...the mother was kind of double faced....the sister was really innocent but god knkws why she got married to such a man....the whole movie was filled with tones of unpredictability

The way this movie put me in emotional roller coaster was unbelievable. Love how the book was telling the real life story of the mother and father of the groom she was marrying. What a plot twist on that. The ring she gave her at the end brought me to tears. This is my first ever Turkish movie snd honestly I would love to watch more

@@fatimamuratalla1725 I feel that she was so in love with his father that she wanted to be there in the happiest day of the son. She had to see him with her own eyes. I don't know if it was necessary but the meeting between the girls still it's a very powerful moment.

if you get the chance to watch Bride of Istanbul please please do so. I have watched close to a hundred of them. It's based on a true story. And doesn't drag forever like some other Turkish series. It shows this family has there huge problems but always gets back together to solve them. It's a very long series but well worth watching. With that being said you won't regret it. Best one ever made I think. And has Ozcan in it also, Really think he was made for that role. Just an excellent job he did. :)

I saw this movie's clips before and searched for it. Upon reading its summary, it says it has a sad ending so I did not watch it coz I don't wanna end up with a broken heart and sobs on my face. This morning, I saw it again and said why don't I try it? And here I am, with a broken heart, fluffy eyes and tears keep falling. The begging for forgiveness, and acceptance from his dad made me broke and when Hasmet saw the faces of Yagmur and Kemal before he was killed is a tear-jerking scene.Though it ended so so sad, I still wanna say this is a very beautiful movie. Taught me that in love, if you wanna keep your love ones safe and sound in situations like this, you must sacrifice something, even if it is you and your happiness. 😢

Such a wonderful film. All of these storytellers did a great job so believable. These two have such great chemistry just as strong as many other legendary on screen couples. TikTok made me to it! And boy am I glad I did. Great movie! First Turkish movie for me. Im not a fan of subtitles to I tend to skip them. The video on TikTOk with her grabbing his hand in fright on the plane had me curious. I haven't cried this much is a LONG time with a movie. Well written, great character arcs and well filmed. BRAVO!

This is my first ever Turkish movie and it brought me a lot of tears. Kudos to the artist and most especially to those people behind this very wonderful and heart-breaking movie. I can't help it but reminiscing their first meeting inside the plane then ended dancing as they're young on the day of the wedding of their son... I've met a lot of Turkish guy in dating app and they're good, respectful and most of all gentlemen like kemal. Love this movie so much❤️🤧😭💞
