if you get the chance to watch Bride of Istanbul please please do so. I have watched close to a hundred of them. It's based on a true story. And doesn't drag forever like some other Turkish series. It shows this family has there huge problems but always gets back together to solve them. It's a very long series but well worth watching. With that being said you won't regret it. Best one ever made I think. And has Ozcan in it also, Really think he was made for that role. Just an excellent job he did. :)
This is the first time i was watching Turkish movie from India.....which robbed my heart forever ..I cried over and over this end.... Movie flows like a melody....becoming one of my ever favorite ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow. I am blown; first Turkish movie seen and I'm wowed. Heartaches everywhere. Everyone of us crying, even the Lady reading the book. Beautiful plot. I usually don't like sad endings but this just prepared my heart to accept what was coming. Oh Love! Art thou sacrificed?❤ 😢 This movie deserves an Oscar.🎉
Thanks for posting this with English subtitles for us North Americans to enjoy. Turkey has some of the most intense, riveting and passionate cinema and television. ❤💙💚💜
The way this movie put me in emotional roller coaster was unbelievable. Love how the book was telling the real life story of the mother and father of the groom she was marrying. What a plot twist on that. The ring she gave her at the end brought me to tears. This is my first ever Turkish movie snd honestly I would love to watch more
I thought this was a light-hearted romantic movie but boy I did not expect that. Aside from the crying, this is a really great written story with a great cinematography.
The other lady's story was like: she tried to grew a flower that can never bloom in a dream that can never cime true😢 The story was really a deep one filled sacrifices in orders to make sure that the belived one lives The brother was kind as he doesn't tell the truth to hamza at that time...the mother was kind of double faced....the sister was really innocent but god knkws why she got married to such a man....the whole movie was filled with tones of unpredictability A nice one...

This was the first Turkish movie I watched and ever since I’ve been in love with Turkish language and their drama. I watched this 8-9 years ago when I was in college and cried like a baby. Rewatching it again and still crying like a baby 😣❤️🩹
This was the most beautiful sad movie I have seen in a long time. Im still in sobbing shock at the ending. They endured so much. And in the end the Mafia still won. Well directed, filming was excellent. Actors were amazing. This was my first Turkish film and its absolutely in my heart.
This is my first ever Turkish movie and it brought me a lot of tears. Kudos to the artist and most especially to those people behind this very wonderful and heart-breaking movie. I can't help it but reminiscing their first meeting inside the plane then ended dancing as they're young on the day of the wedding of their son... I've met a lot of Turkish guy in dating app and they're good, respectful and most of all gentlemen like kemal. Love this movie so much❤️🤧😭💞
@@susanb598 just watched this & just thought to let you know the ‘horrible wife’ remarried & Kemals son Married her daughter in the end. That’s why she’s on the bride side of the wedding table. Plot twist. What a beautiful film 😢
GOODNESS!! My eyes were not prepared for all these tears today. I don't think I've ever seen a movie that shows what reading an intense book like that is like and makes you feel the intense emotion and turmoil. SUCH an amazing film and was not expecting the ending at all. So happy that their wedding was the one to end the disarray and that he showed her what his parents went through.

@kristinaguzman3217 Maybe you can help clarify what happened in the end? Was the bride at the end the woman who was reading the book? Who was the older woman with the dark hair at the end? Was she the one the father of the groom was forced to marry to try to stop the fued? And, was she the mother of the bride, as well? I got kind of lost at the end...
@@rose8662 she is not the mother of the bride at all. Note that she has tried to have a child but failed twice. And also, she was in love with Kamal and am sure she didn't get married again. So how can she be the mother of the bride? If you watch the movie well you will discovered that she has live a bad life before she married Kamal. So the bride is not her daughter. If she had been the bride mother, Yagmur or any of Kamal people will not have allow him to marry her. Also, seeing how she dresses in all black shows that she is still morwning her husband and that her soul is not at rest.

I just realized that turkish movies makes sense and the actor and actresses are so good. The best musical as well even though i dont understand a bit of the language.thanks there is subtitle❤
Oh boy! I just love this movie. Though the ending is sad yet a consolation. His son Kemal knew the love story of his father and mother and shared it to his bride through a book. Kemal dancing with Yagmur was just a recollection of Yagmur of a happy event in her life with Kemal. I understood that Kemal died was happy seeing his son had been raised well by Yagmur whose fire of love for him was still burning in her heart. The image of the wife in black and in distress means she maybe killed herself too due to remorse in killing her own husband. Her sad face symbolized that her spirit was not at peace and her soul was in hell. Wow kudos to the writer of the story, he'll for the souls of those who do wicked things while still alive. Kemal was a peacemaker for he sacrificed his love and life to stop the bloodshed between rival families. So he was blessed as shown on his smiling face in the last scene for he saw his true family, Yugmar and his son Kemal having a peaceful life even though he was physically with them. Peace for his true family symbolized by rain or water. Water puts out the fire of hatred and revenge among rival families. Congratulation to the lead actor for excellent performance. All your movies I've watched we're superb and always with moral lessons. Turkish movies can now compete against Hollywood movies.
you should put a spoiler alert on this lol. but i'm glad to see this, i don't want to see kemal dying. I don't like tragic ending..so even though i'm almost done, i feel like i don't wanna finish it anymore. gonna end it here while kemal still alive. thanks for the spoiler 😆

I legit cried in the ending…why just why…his being his son and writing this story…it just made me weep more😭😭😭😭😭
I just realized that turkish movies makes sense and the actor and actresses are so good.
I love your view on this, thankyou for sharing :)
you should put a spoiler alert on this lol. but i'm glad to see this, i don't want to see kemal dying. I don't like tragic ending..so even though i'm almost done, i feel like i don't wanna finish it anymore. gonna end it here while kemal still alive. thanks for the spoiler 😆
OMG, I thought that Nupe was the bride's mother until I read ur comment 😔
Your view is highly appreciated

Such a wonderful film. All of these storytellers did a great job so believable. These two have such great chemistry just as strong as many other legendary on screen couples. They should do another film together. My father has Turkish blood in him and somehow watching this film makes me proud. Bravo👍👍👍👏👏👏❤❤❤
