Greetings. Thanks a lot for your effort. This is very helpful, and quite addresses a lot of issues I faced while running the program from the manual. Cheers
This error usually means you have either assigned too many pinned ends in your model OR some members are not connected properly. To quickly find out, you may try to set everything to FIX ends and rerun the analysis.
TSD can do 3D modeling, analysis & design for steel and concrete building. Tekla Tedds is just like an electronic calculation pad that allows user to perform element design, 2D analysis and many more calculations that can be done by hands. I would like to see instruction to design a simple building from scratch. If the company wants to sell this in the US, they should demonstrate a design in the imperial unit and the US building codes.
There is no staircase design in TSD at the moment. However, you may simulate it using a slab item and apply the stair loading on it. If you have the latest SP4, then you may use the new command 'Area Ancillary' loading for apply stair loading in the model.
Currently, there is no stair modeling option in TSD. However, most users just model sloping slab to mimic the stair. Alternatively, if you just want to include the stair loading in the model you can model using the new Line Ancillary or Area Ancillary that is available in TSD2020 SP4.

Thank for this great tutorial. I was wondering at 21:50, what is the ideal span direction on a given slab ?
Awesome. I am very interested in this incredible software. Please kindly keep going with next detail tutorials. Thanks !

Does anyone know how to solve analysis error - structure is unstable, review deflections for concrete design

Sorry how to insert stairs in designed structure in TSD?
