Great video. Really informative and straight to the most important stuff. My wife and I are probably moving to Cyprus in September - this video just made things even more clear for us, Thanks!
Keep up the great work, looking forward to more video's on Cyprus.
    Liked and subbed.
P.S I don't think you mentioned what are you where in?

Nice one that it worked out and you can keep your cost of living so low.
We live in the Uk and as a family of 4 spend £5k pcm.
Own our own place/cars outright, dont smoke, drink, gamble or do drugs.
Most people without family ties looking to leave as the cost of living is out of control.
Not sure how the average person is expected to survive and debt level are crazy they will have to be written off I assume.
Visited Cyprus and we loved it.

So basically, life in Cyprus is very very cheap, but the food is crappy, nothing fresh.

I don't see how a young Brit can live and work in Cyprus after Brexit. A digital nomad visa in Cyprus requires an income of 3,500 Euros per month after tax. And they only issue 500 a year.

Based on what he said, he registered a business it's quite a straight forward process google say. Whatever the regulations are there he is either allow to stay there as owner of that business or perhaps employed himself and stay there. Pity he doesn't share more about it, it's a guessing game, it is something to do with opening own business.

@ Registering a business isn't sufficent to qualify to work there. It has to be an investment of 300,000 Euros and employ a minimum of 5 EU workers. Not just a guy with a laptop.

Are you a Cypriot resident? If not, you would still be liable for UK taxes.

@@cameronmccleary I've no doubt you're a tax resident in Cyprus. But being a tax resident doesn't automatically entitle you to work or make an online income in Cyprus.

@ I did and it showed tax residency does not automatically allow you earn an income in Cyprus.

Doing my CTA and if you fill out the right forms and do not live in the Uk for 183 days per year you can claim non residency.
Not an expert on Cypriot taxation, but as we from NI we have UK & Irish passports I never wasted the time looking into it.
Every tax authority would want your cash so i cannot see why they would not make him tax resident.
He went the business route so I assume a local accountant kept him right.
The real crafty people are technically tax resident anywhere they move, but I prefer a base.
