Steffi Graf: As if this match wasn't entertaining enough... Working for NBC, Chris Evert was really on that day. It wasn't that she was any more insightful than she usually was. It was that she was just herself. Listen for yourself. At one point, Chris makes fun of the chair umpire. She calls John McEnroe lazy. (John is in the booth with her and Dick Enberg.) She admits to trying, rather falsely, to build up Margaret Court's image. When Chris was trying to be nice and smart, she was usually boring and repetitive. When she was herself, she was really fun.
