  • On 09/04/2024 storm Pierrick made for a pretty windy day on the Dover Strait so the perfect time for a trip to Dover. And a good day to test the seakeeping of P&O's new double ended Fusion Class ferries. Please note this video only contains footage from part of the Calais to Dover crossing. Halfway to Dover they decided to close all outside decks so there was no way for me to get any more good footage after that point.

    I remember going on a rough trip to Ireland a few years back. That was on the Isle of Inishmore shown at the beginning of the video.

    Amazing that the English Channel is supposed to be one of the busiest sea ways in the world and yet there were no other ships to be seen !

    Those lorries should not have been placed on the open deck.
