My dad was 93 when I lost him to alzheimers. We were always close and had a special relationship being his first born. Towards the end he didn't always know who I was which was sooooo hard. I'd cry because I felt like I'd lost him even before he was physically gone. I'd give anything for one more minute with my dad.😢😢❤❤❤❤

What a wonderful father I had, my mum was the luckiest girl but now are reunited, how I miss them.
I love my Dad but he is late and didn't get to enjoy the fruits of his labour as a father . He died on march 21, 2014 and somes after God bless me with good job that i could give him better treatment if he was alive. May God give him eternal life with him till we meet to depart no more. My parents were married for 59 years, this song brings me close to home my dad passed away in 2009 and my mom missed him everyday and she would just be mad and sad when she saw couples walk hand to hand saying it wasn’t fair and that she wanted to be with him, she got sick with dementia and it was close to Christmas time and I went to Walmart to buy her a pair of slippers so she would be nice and snugged to go meet her loved one in heaven, I remember I said “mom you can let go now, go see dad and tell him that I said hi” she opened her eyes and smiled and that’s when I saw the bright light coming into my bedroom and knew that God took her that night. It was special for me to see that.
