I have so much respect for you... when Adam first started with Queen you weren’t a fan because of all of the negative things fans were saying about him trying to “fill” Freddy Mercury’ shoes, but being the professional you are , you gave him a chance singing Queen’s songs and also his own music. I agree that he is so under valued as an artist, but your help in getting his music out there with positive reactions maybe more people will listen and realize what a true talent he is and how much he has so offer the music industry. You rock!!❤️

One of his most powerful performances of this song. For his fans, this is a bittersweet performance. Not long before he performed on James' show, circumstances led to Adam and his boyfriend of nearly a year breaking up. Javi was in the States for university, met Adam not long after he graduated and stayed in the US. Then his Visa expired and he had to go back to Spain. They're still good friends but anything deeper became a memory. You can hear the pain in his voice.

I LOVED this video!!! I’ve seen Queen with Adam twice now and wow does he have an amazing voice! He has the best voice I’ve ever heard in person! I would love if you reacted to “Who Wants to Live Forever” by Queen and Adam at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2016, to me that is when Adam felt the most confident with Queen and solidified himself as part of the group. I personally got goosebumps watching it, it was a very special moment

Thank you for all of the hard work you do to create these response videos. You are right about how awesome Adam Lamberts “Closer to You” is. I would, however, want to point out a needed clarification which I think is important to examine. One reason you say that you want to listen to Adam’s solo work is that Queen music is not his story, then indicating that he won’t be as able to be able to inhabit it as well (paraphrase). This flies in the face of hundreds, and in some cases, more, of the arts and humanities. Since their creation, Shakespeare’s plays, have been successfully and with great creativity been acted out by a wide array of actors. Were they lessened because it wasn’t Shakespeare there or because it wasn’t “their” story? Of course, there will always be duds, but think of the great Sir Lawrence Oliver. Not “his” stories, but dependent upon the actor’s method, they might fully inhabit the character or glean some aspects of the character to which they can relate. Even though Tchaikavosky composed Swan Lake”, both Barishnikov and Nureyev embodied their parts with such spirit, passion, and life that some audience members described that at the end, they felt as if they had to bring themselves through time and space to the very place that they were “now”. There are innumerable examples, from the greats listed above to “Amazing Grace” sung in that little white church on Sunday morning whose spirit touches and becomes our spirit, yet we didn’t write it. Let me assure you that years and years of following Adam, he does feel those stories; the experience might not be the same, but it is the essence of what Freddie might want to convey, that essence which informs his craft and his interactions with the audience, Brian, and Roger. Anyway, no intense intended ; I just thought that a clarification was needed.
It is a shame that there still remains a vocal group (some with more than one account, my tech-loving teenage goddaughter assures me) who seem to think that to like Adam is somehow disloyal to Freddie. Along that line of thought, some think they cannot enjoy both, I deeply enjoy them both.
That said, it would be really interesting to have someone focus solely on just Adam solo work. I think that “Velvet” is his strongest album yet by far. There are things on every album that I like, but some of the lesser known songs on the first couple of albums are deep and gorgeous. Thank you for reading this.
I believe when Adam started with Queen, Brian and Roger told him to absolutely feel the freedom to interpret the songs the way he personally felt them and he does just that and amazingly so. We should just feel grateful that we had Freddie then we have Adam now and be thankful for both these phenomenally talented men. QAL won’t be here forever, let’s all enjoy them and the glorious music while we still can.

I'm gonna keep it REAL with you Faith.. I ALMOST unsubscribed to your channel after you responded to the flak you caught over Adam's song with Queen and you basically stopped doing reactions of him with Queen. We're literally traveled the world to see Adam, both solo and with Queen. We're of an age when Freddie was still around and tho we loved him..he's gone too soon and not coming back. Adam is the BEST to sing Queen songs now. And his solo performances are second to none! I HIGHLY recommend you react to many more songs with Queen AND his solo stuff. Who Wants to Live Forever, Isle of Wight was an absolutely stunning performance. You must not miss that one. Also agree about Red House and One More Try but there are also dozens and dozens of Adam’s performances to see on UA-cam. Always singing live and sounding incredible with that phenomenal voice! He is my forever favorite music man since Idol. For me, I will never hear another voice like that, ever and I feel very lucky and blessed that he exists in my lifetime.
She has already reacted to Isle of Wight and she got flak because she has ears and loved it. I searched now for that video and I can't find it anymore. She's made it disappear.

Thing is, even Brian May and Roger Taylor have said if not for Adam and his awesome vocal talent they wouldn't even be performing live anymore. My comment to Faith was because after she caught the inevitable BS, I feel like she should've ignored the haters and continued to react to Adam's performances. Otherwise, a talented, openly out gay artist is once again shut down by HATE. It's not fair or right for bullies to get their way. If Faith refuses to react..haters win. Simple as that. 😥

I agree with the comments below, I like Adam. I have a hard time hearing him do Queen songs, it's just not the same. He has an amazing voice and should continue to put out his own music
He has no plans not to continue his solo career. As to Queen, no, it does not sound the same because it is not the same...it is Queen +Adam Lambert. It is doubtful that you would give Queen + Adam Lambert a broad sampling, and even if you did, Freddie (I love both) is still frozen in your mind for about 30 years after his death, so just enjoy Freddie. No harm...
