This looks decent but I've got Mudrunner and not got round to playing that yet. I prefer in-car views in driving/racing games if they work well - the in-car camera for this could work a lot better if they allowed VR headsets to be used, then you could lean sideways to look out of the window and see how close you were to any cones etc. Would make it feel a lot more realistic!
I just tried the three games: Snowrunner, Expeditions, and Pure Rock Crawling. Pure Rock Crawling is a million times better. Why? Physics are realistic and make sense. In Snowrunner/Expeditions, everything feels floaty, engines aren't revving realistically, mud/dirt physics are extremely unrealistic, etc. Everything takes ages cos it's unrealistically slow and difficult, and you end up flipping your truck anyway. If you're flipped, it's game over anyway. Just reset the whole thing. None of that bullshit in Pure Rock Crawling. All cars/trucks are super responsive and realistic, and the UI couldn't be more streamlined. Content in Pure Rock Crawling is way smaller, and the developer should really try to hire somebody to create more content, and faster. The core gameplay is much better than the competition, at least.

mudrunner is good, more sandbox box than game, but i do end up outside the truck/car in that too, its easier to see what you are driving over, lol :-)
@@RealGenericDemon Yeah I think in this type of game I'd have to stick to the outside view too, especially as I don't have a VR headset anyway!
