I am very sure, this audio is a complete scam. I am a musician and Joy Division fan since decades and I know a lot about music production, effects etc. This audio is just ridiculous and has nothing to do with Hannett. It’s just a demo version of digital low pass filtered with some very cheap reverb effects, Hannett would never have touched these effects. This is not to criticise the uploader, who might know nothing about music production and engineering, but these „bootlegs“ are cynical attempts to make money with the Joy Division brand. There is nothing rare or unpublished here to listen to, just idiotic manipulation of existing material. If only these idiots would have a little talent in what they are doing😎
Don’t worry this isn’t my copy at all nor my possession, it’s from the Joy Division in the studio with Martin Hannett bootleg but I believe you’re correct, thank you for the comment. (Edit: I do know a bit about Production and engineering and I had thought for some time that this was probably a bootleg (and mostly fake) but I had never really remembered that thought in uploading so again, thank you!)
