was an organist for 23 years before covid hit
thats wonderful!
You lost an organ from COVID?
i have, it's nice, shame it's full of religists pretending to know stuff they don't.
I am in disbelief: the huge expense; staffing etc... I suppose it all lends credibility to all the stuff about a god...
It's also about the history of the country

As a Londoner my advice would be that if you visit our city, then this is the most important historic site to visit along with the Tower of London. Enjoy your trip.
Look how Catholic its is mate check out the city of London there's a literal place called the city of London in London and the Royals or any one of this land or from others cart get in Only the pope if you think no this cart be right go look it up the Romans never left remember what bloody Mary did to the people of this land was all Catholic run by the Vatican man Every Royal is Catholic but tell the people there Christian if they was they would do what the bible says they would keep a sabbath which is God's day of Rest on saterday not Sunday just look it up check the Catholic commandments and the bible commandments you'll see a difference God of the most High be with you mate in Yahusha's(Jesus) name
I´d like to travel to London someday with my wife. I live in a small city in Spain, but we have got a beautiful cathedral too (I think is more beautiful than Westminster). And a romanesque Tower too, into the Tower, the Holy Grail is sited. That´s true.
Sorry my poor english.
@@bwanaminoplis2536it’s not only about the building but what indside the westminster abbey. It is a resting place for many historical figure that help to shape the modern world like darwin, hawkin, isaac newton and more. It is also a resting place for many english king and queen. Spain doesn’t have that. And don’t forget that spain only have little influence in the shaping of the modern world compared to the english thats why this building is more significant than any building in spain
@@m.a.i7324 I don´t know, but in my city there is a Basilique where is buried Saint Isidoro of Seville , one of the wisest men of the Middle Age. In the Royal Pantheon are buried twenty kings and queens , The voults have one of the best romanesque paintings of the world. Painted about year 1.090 Just beside , in the cloister, the First Parliament of Europe took place in the year 1.188 (UNESCO, declaration). Into the tower of the Basilique is the Holy Grail . The golden Chalice owned by a princess. That´s not a joke. It´s true.
Have England a place like this ??
And two hundred metter from the Basilique there is a gothic cathedral . It was began at year 1.222.
That´s the cathedral : compare:

And think about a fact : the indians who worked in Potosí Silver Mines (Perú) in century XVII , had better works conditions (health , life expentancy, no children workers, less work hours, better salary ) than the miners of Wales Coal Mines in the Century XIX.
That´s a real fact .
@@bwanaminoplis2536 why do you feel the need to add "that's true" so many people have called you out on being a liar? that there is no such object? it can't be the holy grail, one, gods are myth, two, if god is real he doesn't allow evidence of his existence. why you religists go through claiming that god exists when clearly even HE doesn't want evidence i don't know, these artifacts CANNOT be genuine, god doesn't allow it.
I had a dream where I was asked to come for bible study at Westminster Abbey. Lord Jesus, may you be brought back to this place of worship. In Jesus name, we ask. Amen.
i had a dream where i was in bed with grace jones.
is it a fairground attraction ?
Beautiful

Remember this was a Benedictine cathedral of Catholic church.. but king Henry wanted to marry one.more woman in addition to existing wife. Church said no. Then king get out the Catholic church from England.
That's right the original Abbey was built in 960AD, and then expanded and partially rebuilt. visiing london from sussex in the osuth of england where i am, it is incredible to see it and jut walk past it. let's hope it stands for millenia more yet
Ups olvidaron a os Músicos
I got permission to go back where your not allowed to be
It doesn't do much for me, more a museum than a church. Not a lot remains from the period when it was a Benedictine Monastery. So it's not an Abbey and has not been once since the monks were forced to leave (for the second time) in 1559 not long after the coronation of Elizabeth I. So it's just a very large church....I don't know why it's still referred to as an Abbey.
Further to my above comment....an Abbey is a monastery headed by an Abbot, e.g. Ampleforth Abbey in England. Or here in Australia Notre Dame Abbey in Victoria.
