Rimuru wasnt holding back, that battle is his current sword level. And its still below gazel dwargon. Its wasnt a full battle with skill and everything. Its a battle with swords only. Swordskill is ok, but not other skill
The fight between Rimuru and the king was a Sword fight of course Rimuru wasn't gonna use Magic, that would just make him a coward.. But from the ep 14 they started to skip a lot of dialogue but its not REALLY important Episode 16 and 17 also make insanly upgrade the Nation and the relations.
the orcs are not all living in Rimiru's city they moved into every goblin city. People that read the other sources say that he had to name all the orcs because they had been kept alive by "Starved" the names were location where they lived, M or F and number in line. There are a couple differences in the manga duel I like a bit better, these are supper nitpicky and the duel is still amazing in both. The win condition wasn't placed at the beginning of the duel and everyone if Rimuru's allies tried to stop it. Traymi arrived specifically to stop the duel but Rimuru was all for it. Once Rimuru stopped the attack The King conceded the duel. Can't wait to watch the rest of your reactions.
9:35 point of this test is to see if hes evil, evli being as a reflects would go for the kill, evil beings are incapable of holding back when they feel threatened and cause this test is dangerous there is no way u won't feel threatened cause 1misstep and ur dead even if ur opponent doesn't intend to kill nor harm u
Rimuru is not good at skills which needs practice and stuff, like sword skills. And his true form is a slime, so he is not his fullest human form, just like Ains Oul Gown. So he wasn't holding back here in sword fighting.
