Misha Omar always know her limit when singing. She's not kind of high register singer. Just nice to hear rather than going high pith and ruin everything. That's why she still relevant and people love her. If you have time maybe you can react she singing live Dedebu Cinta. I think that song is quite high.
this was back in 2007-2008 if I'm not mistaken. To be honest, for this song, I prefer Misha's rendition with Idayu. That one is pretty recent and I think you reacted to it. You can see Misha's improvement there, in terms of balancing vocal + emotion. She used to have that problem before because she often gets emotional and sometimes it affects her vocal. But now she's more experience and knows how to balance both. Anyway Misha debuted in 2002 and Jac 2004. But I think Jac has more experiences because she's older and has been singing with a band long before she joined Malaysian Idol in 2004.
Both of them are DIVAS. The new generation of singers really are inspired by them both. They both have won best vocal in AJL more than ONCE, & it means something. Their voice are completely different from each other but still slaying in their own jurisdiction

Misha are mezzo soprano...not a soprano....for sure her low note ARE VERRY VERYY VERYY GOOD but in terms of high note,she is more comfortable in mid range not high note....her high note not strong enough to be a soprano....but i love herrrr so much

Misha does have a tendency to belt above what shes capable off. Its like Olivia Newton John (Who is a great singer but not exceptional) trying to belt like Whitney Houston. The results will be flat. And I have noticed shes been flat a lot of the time she sings live. Shes not a bad singer, shes really good. She just needs to be realistic with what her vocals are capable of doing.
