Love seeing you're reaction to Mark's wife. So fun to see you trying to come to grips with it. Just a true brain melting moment. What if she was a plant and she worked for lumon before they met. The whole marriage was a sham and it's all a test to determine the effectiveness of the program. She faked her death because she's a true believer of this cult.
Did you notice that Mark talked about his wife the same way that she listed facts about the outies during the wellness sessions? Even saying "I liked all of these things about her equally."
I think that's how they guessed correctly before Mark removes his finger that it would be Miss Casey. We were conditioned expertly for the reveal. In fact the moment the finger is removed feels like brain "orgasm", I don't know how to explain it better and more straightforward, all the reactors are feeling this "release", this conclusion, after the sequence of celotapping the torn picture.
It's amazing how Dylan is this annoying asshole at the start of the show, and then by this episode you find you just love him. He only gets better. Dylan is a real one.
I just realized that Mark tore up the picture of his wife on the outside to try to avoid processing shit the same way Mark on the inside put the map in the shredder. Genius.
26:40 The reveal of his wife was bonkers! Still can't figure it out. I thought that Mark was with his wife when she died in the car accident, but I guess not?? So they just told him that Gemma died. Remember that Irving (I think) said that he heard the rumor that some innies never leave.
My theory is that Gemma was left in a coma after the car accident and Lumon faked her death and put the chip in her. Now she can only exist in Lumon, if she were to leave, she would just be comatose again. Hopefully they will show in the next season what exactly is the deal with her.
This is my favourite episode and I waited weeks for this specific reaction hoping one of you would guess the reveal. I've watched a bunch of channels watch Severance and Bryce is literally the only one I've ever seen get it right. I'm legit impressed. Worth the wait!
One of my favorite parts of watching reactors react to this amazing show, is the Ms. Casey reveal. It's almost always everything I'd hoped for. When the reactors recognize her. Hahaha.
Bryce, I loved your question about whether 'Irving' might have a different sexuality outside of the office. That would beg the question of what elements of his familial attachments, etcetera, might be suppressing his innate love for men. Because the egos in the office and more pure, unfettered... but also unnurtured. Very interesting to ponder! 💎
Don't forget to read the Lexington letter when you're done with this season, it'll give you more clues and probably some stuff that will be important for season 2.
To those people asking, it's when Miss Selvig is questioning Mark's sister. Yes, the twist was revealed a little bit later, but that doesn't take away the incredible writing.
After you watch the show you should read the lore of fake letters from some outie and innie from before our main cast became involved. It gives more context to the idea of freeing yourself and how lumen intervenes everytime.
I wonder if Ms. Casey’s chip malfunctioned somehow and they lost her outie’s identity or she just wouldn’t switch back so they had to fake her death and keep her there permanently
My guess is clone. She died but somehow they cloned her. Maybe she applied for the severance program at some point and that's how they had a copy of her "essence"?
I think she's a part of the cult. It's a test. She married Mark and pretended to love him and then faked her death. All part of the plan to test how effective the severance procedure is.
@@Emily-rn4fuShe's telling the truth from a certain point of view. She's part time in life. Just an innie. A part time life. Just 12 hours of existence.

Yesss they've done an incredibly good job leaving us breadcrumbs that are so obvious upon a second watch. My god, I adore this show
Yea that's how I was able to guess it was her, probably the same with them
The wife reveal is crazyy. I need season 2 to arrive asap!
IT'S TAKING FOREVER
The filming will continue till April end. So, hopefully, the S2 will premiere in Oct. or Nov.

What makes you say he was an asshole?

The Milchick dance is classic!
12:14 that was a real reaction! the cast didnt know the set lights did that until they filmed this scene :)
Oh that’s cool!
I love those little tidbits, thanks for sharing
Milichecks dancing was A: fire and B: like a hawk swarming his prey surrounding Dylan. Great choreography.
Graner getting Lucilled, Milchick doing his sexy dance, Ms. Casey reveal, this episode is ICONIC
Iconic?? Please. 😑
dude i cannot tell u how happy i am ya'll are watching this
These two are not ready for the waffle party. No one was!
I hope the other guy is back for that episode, his reaction is gonna be gold lol
Damn straight I wasn't. Luckily no one was sleeping else they would have woken up to me saying 'WHAT THE FUCK'

DEFIANT JAZZ is such a comforting term and loved the lighting storytelling experience.
Oh boy... yes, there will be more reveals like this!

Mrs. Casey has the saddest innie story. Wait for the next episode to find out.
Jesus I watched this whole show in one sitting a while back and yeah I remember why I didn’t stop
Same here. And then the next day I rewatched the entire show.
Milchick dancing is the nutrients that feed my soul
I loved seeing y'alls faces during the reveal!! I remember losing my mind. Can't wait for the next two!
Not a spoiler, but my personal theory of Lumen 's OP is that they do mind control / experiments on the living and the recently deceased
I've been waiting for this episode all day I love robs reaction he is so me
17:42 If you pause during this sequence and look at the names of the people on the severed floor you'll notice an unexpected name ;)
Now I need to know but I don't have Apple TV anymore so I can't check.
I did and don't recognize any of the names. Which one are you talking about?
@@senecakw Harmony Cobel, listed with the orange light that marks her chip as deactivated at the time when Mark and co are in the security room.
@@nataki8776 Thanks. I can't read the text in my video copy. That explains why I couldn't find it.

Selvig asking Marks sister if he ever thinks hes seeing his wife is so twisted holy shit
there's an official side novel called the Lexington letter that I highly recommend you check out once you're done the shown

The reactions are SO MUCH BETTER when it’s just the two of you! ❤
"Look at the bat!" lol
Ms Casey being revealed as the wife was one of the CRAZIEST things ever, it was so amazing
MY FAVORITE EPISODE.
When I watched this episode for the first time I gagged just like Rob did LMFAO
It's been a lot of fun watching you guys react to this!
Mr. Milchik is definitely working for Burt
Cobel is having her little side quest with Mark and his wife.😅
I'm watching this episode for the first time with your video hahaha that's awesome 😊
Thanks for uploading, guys!
Bro, it's not a market substitute 😂
@@kcha237 I know, it was just fun and figured i might as well watch it since I'd watch their reaction later anyway
The finale better blow you away omg
One of my favorite parts of watching reactors react to this amazing show, is the Ms. Casey reveal. It's almost always everything I'd hoped for. When the reactors recognize her. Hahaha.
The last few episodes end on some shocking twists. Also, the orange self-help being a symbol of rebellion? Who knew?
Rob is literally me, your reactions are perfect

Thanks, Rob! Thans, Bryce! 🧠 Ben Stiller is back directing this episode. He'll also direct the penultimate and finale.
Kinda explains why Cobel was keeping such a close eye on Mark.
Burt's retirement party is so damn sad.
