As a grown identical twin who almost never fought with sis and is still BFF almost 50yrs later, I get it Evie. I shared a bedroom with my twin until I was 14. The first night apart was strange but I was surprised how easily we both adapted. This separation was the first of others later in life- college, marriage, living in different cities… The thing that has never changed is our special twin connection, our closeness, and our love. Despite different lives, we still share so much in common and experience unique twin things still today.
My heart was breaking for Evie. It brought tears to my eyes. I hope she does start loving her own room. It will be fun to see it!

Evie made me cry. Reminded of me when my brother moved out. We’re not twins but we were super close in age my mom raised us like twins. Shared everything, did everything together and when he moved out with his gf it ruined me. I know it’s hard at first but it’ll make their connection stronger. Big hug Evie❤❤😘😘

As a mother of twins I can so empathise with you guys. One of my twins was snuggly and the other is not. So one of my twins wanted snuggles, while the other wanted space.

You should’ve put scarlet and Evie as the rooms that share the jack and Jill bathroom so they’d have an easy way to go between rooms and they’d still brush their teeth and do stuff together

Hugs and kisses for Evie. She's always has the strongest of emotions and I sympathize with her. Change is never easy and she is learning that at a young age. Ever since the quads were a baby, my heart broke when Evie would get tearful. Such a sweet, caring, sympathetic little girl. Understandable Scarlett wants a big room all to herself, but still.... I hope they still stay just as close. I have a feeling Scarlett won't be sharing a bed with Evie. Although with her Harry Potter room, Evie will probably be begging to stay with her. That's my guess that Scarley will have a Harry Potter room. Can't guess what Evie will have. Butterflies??

Twin mama! My girls are 10. They still share a room due to a smaller size house. This just about broke my heart. Their bonds are so special.
My kids were exactly the same and it was so hard for a few days. I eventually ordered lwalkie talkies and it was a huge help with the transition.

Don't cry Evie Scarlett will always be your close friend and your sister just like Indie and Esme and you can still do the same thing you used to do together because the special love and the special bond that you have for each other will never go away even if you are in separate bed rooms❤❤❤❤
They need walkie talkies of some sort so they can talk at night. Wait till cell phones when they can facetime all the time

It’s ok Evie. You are just across the hallway from each other and you can always go sit sit in with your sister if you get lonely in the night. Change can be hard at first but you will get used to it. It can be fun too having your own space. If you need some alone time you will have your own room to sit in, if you are angry or annoyed you will have your own room to go to. You can decorate it any way you like.

My identical twin passed away in 2018. And I feel for Evie..its hard to be away from your twin.But at least she knows that Scarley is just down the hall.
When we moved to different cities, we still stayed bffs. We called each other multiple times a day, day or night. And our hubbies just had to get used to it.❤ Your twin is your other half, your support person. Its gets better girls, as you get older.

Omg, I'm not much of a crier, but her sweet, sad little face had me in tears.😢 One of my twin girls never dealt well with change well at all, but we split them up at ~2-3 years old so that's one hurdle we didn't have; I don't think they even remember being in the same room.

me and my sister shared rooms until I was 14 and she was 16! When my sister finally was happy about getting her own room,I was SO sad about it, I did NOT want my own room😭but I never told her or anyone, I thought I was supposed to act happy and excited so I did that..

A little too late i guess, but why evie didn’t get indie and esme’s room so she would have stayed closed to her twin. And indie and esme would have taken the « new » rooms. ?
I think that would have been better. Its NEVER too late, they can always switch around the rooms. Maybe its so Evie doesnt just in Scarletts room every night?? I dunno. Someone mentioned walkie talkies and that could really help.

You can make it a big deal when they have “sleepovers” in the others room like always Friday night sleepovers and they can do sleepover type of things and get special snack
