Basically every piece of the banya equipment has its own signature spirit whom would punish people for misconduct in banya and has to be pleased in order to visit it safely.
As an Estonian(very big sauna culture) who speaks a bit of Russian, I can say that this is incredibly accurate, the Russian is correct but more importantly the Saunaing is correct.
The ironic thing is that in reality there is nothing gay about it and you can get hurt if you tell one of the men or women who go to the bathhouse about it, lol.
