Black Adam does more damage with a lightning bolt than most characters do in a full combo
incoming nerf.
his meter burn lighting bolt is like 21 to 25 percent other characters combos with meter mid screen is little bit more than that but he does do alot of damage
not a full combo, but a 4 hits BnB for sure
Now...Green Lantern on his optimal combo = 15 hits almost 400 damage
Black Adam = a regular BnB with no more than 5 hits = close to 450 damage
Not just he hits like a truck, this is okay, Ermac in MKX also hits like a truck but Black Adam is safe in almost everything he does, his trait is one of the best in game and I believe he's the only character that can get a 600 damage on mid screen without super
The game left has little time for sure will play in some characters such as black adam and darkside among others
+Tim_Cruz177 The only other character who can get that much damage is Bane on level 3 venom and with around 3 bars. Still, if Bane goes for level 3 venom he has to wait 12 to 15 seconds on the cooldown, all that while taking 30% more damage and having slower walk speed and slower startup on everything.
To me, one of the most interesting things about this tournament is how the commentators are RIGHT BEHIND the competitors.

Great tournament!!! Absolutely loving that Atrocitous has done so well in this tournament, especially with Tekkenmaster showing a lot of his potential and variation.
On another slightly more negative note, it's tough to see how this game is becoming either zoner or chip centric. (ivy, deadshot, black Adam and aquaman)
Hoping as this game matures people use interesting variations as opposed to projectile or special spams (not saying they shouldn't as it is part of the game, just hoping it progresses) Although that red hood trailer seems to show another pure zone character.
You're right Isaac, trailer does show that he has the ability to go close up in a fight. However, when I look at that meter burn pistol spray that can also be done in the air, the ninja star ranged attack and the low grenade/bomb he throws I can't help but feel he will be used as a zoner by a lot of players.
Either way, it's not a bad thing, just my thoughts :D
cpfcislife I mean I'm sure he'll have zoning qualities but he does show a side of close combat. Like you said, people will probably just use him with zoning in mind unfortunately :^/

Black Adam's damage is legitimately broken. His 12 starter can be confirmed from pretty much anything and leads into easy 40% plus damage.

by the way, her old trait wasn't bad because it was random, it was bad because the bomb got eaten up by invincible wakeups. so getting the best item was the most useless. and the other items just had passive effects.
dragon's ivy was less boring this time. he actually used bark and combos a couple times, and that stance thing. i forgot she even had that. i hope she can do more than just drill and trait.

First time SF won Combo Breaker. :)). He was unsuccessful to do so with MKX.
In 2016 SF only ranked 4th. :(
Combo Breaker 2015: SF (Erron Black) lost to Dizzy (Raiden).
CB 2016: SF failed to come top 3. He lost to Red Raptor (Takeda) or Hayatei(Takeda) I guess. By the way the one who won the tourney is Foxy Grampa.
I dont think that the Clash System should reset Bane's Trait Debuff at all. Its kinda stupid honesty.
Not saying it should continue through at all but it should pause for the clash time then resume back when the clash is finished.
I made the comment after seeing it in the match and so after there was a clash while he had up his venom and after the clash it sent him straight to debuff. Thats total BS in my opinion.

Totally agree as a Bane player. Supers, stage transitions and clashes all reset his debuff timer. On level 3 debuff it's absolutely killer.

In the Forever King - KDZ match, the announcers kept saying something about disrespect, what were they talking about?
It was just when King was pressing buttons out of KDZ's plus frames, the general term is that a player is "disrespecting" something that they don't want to hold by pressing buttons out of it. It's one of many ways to "disrespect" something.

TheLegend 1990 sounds good! keep it up, try to play a few hrs daily so to connect with the game and its mechanics. watch a lot of I2 youtube stuff and try to find someone who wanna get pro with you and is willing to fight you permanently. I was top #2 in mk9 2vs2 europe rankings and played every character to the fullest. i had the best fighters worldwide on 1/2 of the rooster. but sadly no one told me there were actually tournaments for the game. i did spend nearly 12k hrs lifetime 27 PS3 controllers and 2 PS3's on mk2011. sonic fox was a noob in mk9 compared to me. i dont think i get even near the level i was in mk9 but i will try :)

sorry may be dumb question but how come certain characters have more health then others? isnt that like completely unfair lol?
thats how it is in pretty much every fighting game. slower characters usually have more health but ovbiously lack speed.
agile characters have less health but a lot of quick damage output making them glass canons.

Poison Ivy is such a cheap character. Spam the roots just like Aquaman in i1. And the plant dragon still hit low when disappear.
she is so far from top tier its insane. learn the match up kiddo
only wakeup is a command grab that can be jumped, ducked, and shimmied out of. d2 is 20 frames. trait disappears if she's hit unlike atrocitus where it lasts the entire duration of the trait. no 50/50's that lead into full combos. can be outzoned by half the roster, which she then is forced to play rushdown which ivy isn't the character for that. Dragon didn't stay ivy for the entire tournament. 60/40 was aquaman. There is nothing retarded about her, she needs everything that she has in terms of "zoning". there are so many more fucking stupid people in this game, ivy is the least of your concern.
you have to make the plant dragon hit low dragon does it when it is about to disappear and uses it correctly and she is not cheap at all

The playstyle is infuriating unless you're also using an annoying character. Just because she isn't as good as other characters in this game doesn't mean she's not a pain to fight against when played at a high level.
Sonic Fox is a great fighter. One of of the best. But I will never be a fan. Reason? Things like his little CDjr comment at the end. That's why. No matter what people do or say to you, its your responsibility to be the mature person.....especially if your a champion pro for a living. At least the announcer was the actual adult and steped in and put Sonic in his place.
