That Apex Rath-Duo quest is definitely one of my favorite event quests. Other ones I enjoyed were the Sonic quests and Kamura Night Hunt (the Rampage quest that has Magnamalo in the second horde and Ibushi as the final major threat).

Monsters can hit the walls where you put defenses, and it does damage, and Apex mizu hit the wall, in my experience only physical attacks like tackles do this

Funny MH3U moment from the other day: hunting G-rank Volvidon (quest: Sweltering Showdown) and doing a Lance charge into it trumps Volvidon's roll attack almost every time.

Yeah I have almost 1500 hours in world/IB and about 100 in rise, charm farming doesn’t feel great the odds for what you actually want are so against you
