it gets really gross fast though. It seems to pick the most cliche of choices, and yyou have to do so many, jyust to get good stuff. and as far as extending your stuff.... do the work.
Yeah, I completely agree - it's already here and it doesn't make sense to deny existence of it a part of future musical industry/community. Definitely, there are many questions around its use still including legal etc, but the speed how it progresses is impressive. I found it when it was v2.0, now it's 3.5 and it can use external music for its production already. Yes, it picks a lot of cliche and when I think of it's possible use, so it could be either for an inspiration if the music writing process stuck, or to create some background music for home videos, videogames, soundtracks - which could fit the story you want to tell and you don't have to pay royalties to real bands for the use of their music in your works. Whether or not it's good or bad, only time can answer. I think, by now the community could just watch how it develops and think of possible constructive and creative applications.
