Now you need to play with an expansion. With an expansion, you don’t see all of the cards, so that ability to predict which cards are coming next goes away, and I think it gets even more fun!
Sounds good! :)
Can you play the solo mode with an expansion?
@@christianmueller4557 Yup, you sure can. The expansions just add variability to the skulls used in the game. I also like playing with them because it means you won’t see every card every game, so it adds to the variability even more. That said, adding expansions will change up the scoring quite a bit, so your range of scores will likely change depending on the expansion you are using.
Seems like a lot of fun, but not sure if I like the scoring conditions. I usually don't like having to beat a certain score and that's it. I'd much rather see a scoring condition like in Sprawlopolis, where you either win or lose and the number of points needed to win varies with each playthrough as the scoring conditions change. That feels much more dynamic and rewarding as a win condition. The gameplay of Skulls does look like a lot of fun though!.
Agree that Sprawlopolis is one of the best for this kind of scoring system
Best ButtonShy solo game!
Hmmmm, I REALLY like Sprawlopolis and ROVE, but this one is great too!
Didn't you forget to flip all criminal cards, that were not connected to priests before scoring?
You don't flip the criminal cards. You just don't score them. Watch the scoring section of the video again and you will see that I specifically mention not scoring non-priest adjacent criminals.
