- Let's talk about some popular amber fragrances that are all so similar, yet each so unique! I have been sampling fragrances that are similar to MFK's Grand Soir, and today I want to share my thoughts and opinions on two that I have been loving: Amouage's Material and Houbigant's Mon Boudoir.

I decluttered grand soir after I discovered Material. I enjoy lavender sometimes but I also struggled with it in that scent. Another favorite for its simplicity in mastering amber and labdanum is Chanel’s Le Leon.
Amber is one of my favourite notes. My 1st amber was CK's Obsession; back then I had no idea what a spicy amber was but I fell in love and and even the current formulation is good compared to many new releases now available.

I’m a huge amber collector & Material is intoxicating to me❤❤❤I love it on a Fall/Winter scarf out hiking wafting about it is mind blowing good🥰🥰🥰.
