twd aint scary now even though the zombies cgi and makeup is more realistic and scary. its bc people are the main enemys now and people dont take as much risks as earlier on in the show that has to do with "scary" zombies. People also have very good stable bases that they can easily rebuild if other humans went to destroy it. This is a good detail but you can see that rick, dyral and those people easily kill zombies bc they are used to it and know whats up. obv there is still a couple of "scary" stuff like big hordes and still some taken risks but not that much.

Anyway, he appreciated people, and for Blake they were just resources, and then he shot them. Shane may have a combative nature because he is an experienced policeman, but the governor has excellent leadership qualities, and besides, he has war veterans at his disposal. Strength: The Governor possessed truly tremendous physical strength. In the fight with Shane, Rick managed to defeat him, but Blake beat the crap out of Grimes and was able to resist a small horde of zombies, which is testament to the governor's impressive stamina, and remember what he did to Dixon. Among other things, Blake is capable of making the most cold-blooded decisions, he is a complete psycho.
Shane was never bad , im rewatching twd atm , i think he was actually too far ahead in terms of adapting , so much to the point that it made him seem like a villian however he wasnt he was just smart , its also interesting because rick turns into shane later on
