Turkey Day 1 - Travel Day - Aska Lara Resort and Spa - First Holiday since COVID-19 Lockdown Aug 20

- The Hackett Family are back on their travels. Here is our first holiday since the COVID-19 lockdown and it was a last minute booking to Turkey, where we had never been before. We stayed at the Aska Lara Resort and Spa near Antalya on Lara Beach. On Day 1 we travelled from Manchester Airport to Antalya Airport with Tui.
I'm going to Turkey in 5 weeks and it is my first time I can't wait I hope you had a good time to I love your videos ❤️❤️

Great to see a family in exactly the same boat as us Manchester to antalya after multiple cancellations. Im assuming the terminal will be a it more busy now.
We went to Aska Lara in 2016 and 2017 and it was the best holiday iv'e had and we are hopefully going to go this summer!

Enjoy! Yeah, the flight there was pretty crammed, but was ok. We stayed out the whole time, but being a night flight helped with the kids.

My family and I went to Turkey in September 2020 and honestly I felt much safer in Turkey than the UK. It was a brilliant holiday! I hope you and your family had a lovely holiday.

Yes we have thanks. We have a trip to Orlando in late May (hopefully) and a trip to Mexico in August.
Hi, great video! The bus from airport you had the baby in pram on the seat. Are the pram legs folded or removable? What pram was that? We have a 6 month old and travelling to Istanbul for 7 days. First time flying and travelling with bub so are curious about how to get around so any little tips would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Thank you. It’s the Stokke Xplory. We’ve used it for both kids. It isn’t secure for car use, but with the coach being our only transport needed on this trip, it just gave us a little more safety assurance.
Wanted to choose that hotel. We’re off in April. Fingers crossed. Chose Eftalia ocean resort. Hopefully it’s as good as yours looks.

Thank you for this vlog we planning going June is it family kids friendly would you recommend also how far from the airport we got 2&4 year old thank you 😊
Wow. It was a few years ago now, but would recommend the hotel for kids. Our two loved it. Lacked a bit at night, but the water park and hotel facilities were really good. I think it was about 45 mins from the airport. I don’t remember it being too far.

hi me n my kids are going there ages 12 and 15 is there any chiken and chips there picky? and how far is the water slides
The buffet had loads of options. Pretty sure Chicken was one every night.

Depends on price. We enjoyed it, but got a really cheap deal. Great for kids!
Do you know if the resort offers pcr testing service and what the prices are?
Not sure. They weren’t needed when we went in 2020.
