I’ll be honest I was fully expecting 3D Saul Goodman to be the whole video but I was blown away with the concept you’ve made, the platformer segment with Jimmy going through the desert with Lalo’s bail money was genius
Same. The range of styles and their proficient presentation is just dumbfounding. Lumpy has the skill of entire Graphic Design Department to pull that all off single-handedly.

They even made it a prequel to another show they made in 2009 because one of the characters coincidentally looked exactly like the guy from the game over screen! He also had a restaurant named Los pollos Hermanos!
The only reason games like this are no longer made is because the Nintendo Gameboy is obsolete. You may as well claim that the music industry are too scared these days to produce mono recordings on wax cylinders.
That was the most disturbing and laugh out loud thing I have seen all year. Mike sounding like a broken Sylvester Stallone in 8-bit GBA graphics while smiling (scary sh*t) and holding a peace sign. I would buy this game if it was released today.
This is one of the most bizarre things i've ever seen. Such a conflicting range of emotions, from the nostalgia-ridden years of the Game Boy growing up, to the bizarre level of effort in making a recent TV show (that I love) juxtapose with it.
I would absolutely love a behind-the-scenes video where you talk about how you Gameboy-ify stuff like this. Everything from the audio to the graphic resolution to the progressive fade outs. It's so well done!
the little details in this animation are great! More apparent ones aside like the awesome pixel art renditions and bitcrushed voice lines, the way you did the platforming stage looks like someone actually playing a game. Little micro adjustments to the players movements and how the jump heights are ever so slightly different like they're holding the A button down differently each time, awesome stuff!
The Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul universe has probably the greatest fan base. The memes and content surrounding these two shows and Slippin Jimmy of course has been going strong for years and hasn't lost its potency!
This is way more creative than I expected, like using the bagman episode as a level in the game is cool af. I was just expecting the usual low effort saul goodman 3d and finger memes but with gameboy filter.
it's quite impossible to make this for the gameboy given it's got a max of 64 8x8 pixel tiles stored in vram. it would be like running minecraft on your smart fridge
@The Comment Critic still doesn't matter? even making a simple image given the game boys resolution of 160x144 that's 20x18 8x8 tiles making an image of detail almost impossible
Now I really want to see Mike's double jump. Nice touch making Jimmy's HP ice cream cones. Lumpy knows his stuff. Also, I never want to see Mike smile like that again. 😳
