Great fighter Khan was - Junior Olympic Gold Medalist, Olympic Silver medalist at 17, world champion at 22, 2 time world champion, a unified world champion at 24, fought 16 current or former world champions and beat 11 of them, box office fights PPV - made millions - what a career and pure box office whole career so many entertaining fights win or lose

@otey7326 what a load of nonsense 😂 you don’t beat the guys he beat and achieve what Khan did if you are overrated, his resume is strong, you don’t see British fighters these days fighting the number of current or former champions as Khan did… guys like him and Froch from the last generation are a dying breed who weren’t afraid to fight the best win or lose. Khan in his prime and at his best had sensational ability but I agree in the sense that yeah Khan had natural defensive and fundamental flaws to his game due to his offensive style that he never really fixed and made him vulnerable to getting caught flush with left hooks and overhand rights (which also made his fights exciting) but he fought a lot of big punchers and beat them, but it wasn’t necessarily punchers that caused Khan trouble or pressure fighters he actually usually beat those types of guys and pure boxers but it was boxer-punchers that caused Khan problems - fighters who could punch with him in the exchanges and catch him, guys like Danny Garcia and Canelo.. he could be up on the cards but was always vulnerable to being caught when clever boxer puncher style guys could exchange with him… and also Khan had great character he always bounced back from defeats he had the ability to reinvent himself and get back to the top level - you don’t have a career like that and for as long as he had if you are overrated come on, no one said he was an all time great Joe Calzaghe but he is a British legend for what he’s done for UK boxing and achieved - show the man some respect for what he achieved in the ring putting himself at risk for boxing fans entertainment! Boxing is less fun without him in it in my personal opinion.

@otey7326 😂 wow - no point even talking to you, aimless punches with no idea how to defend himself? What? You for real? Come off it pal sounds like you’ve never watched him yourself and yeah he was vulnerable and had some defensive flaws that could be exposed in glimpses but he also had other brilliant defensive skills his defence was his superb reflexes and foot speed that helped him evade punches and get out of trouble and using those natural physical attributes for the most part of his career kept him out of trouble, but when he did get caught flush he could be hurt - the guy had tons of heart. You have your opinion I have mine and of.

@otey7326 it’s world level - of course you’re gonna get caught with shots - aside from Brook fight (as Khan was shot to pieces by then) , Khan also caught Peterson, Canelo, Garcia, Crawford with flush shots - it’s world level mate … Khan evaded many shots with great all round displays of skill at world level on many occasions especially in his prime years - he also comprehensively outboxed the likes of Alexander, Collazo, Judah, Malignaggi, Kotelnik and was outboxing Canelo at times as well until he got caught and he was outboxing Garcia - these guys he outboxed aren’t journey men mate … it’s boxing and we all knew including Khan himself that he didn’t have an elite level chin, you can’t train that but he was a legit good world champion fighter who had sensational ability but had flaws to his game - just like many top boxers also do. There’s only a select few in generations like a Floyd, a Crawford, Loma who are geniuses in the ring - most fighters have flaws …. Granted - Maidana was the biggest puncher Khan beat but and he may have gotten badly wobbled in round 10 but we won - that’s all that matters ! Khan also fought tough guys on the way up too he has never took the easy fights he deserves credit. Anyway good debate mate that’s why we love boxing

He comes across as a really nice guy and all the best to him and his family.
With Muhammad Ali, for me, the reason why he will always be in a different class to other boxers is because he stood up for his principles and beliefs to the extent that he was imprisoned for it. Whereas the rest will possibly compare in their boxing career or celebrity lifestyle but never in politics etc.
    That's just my take.
Again i love amir khan and wish him all the best ❤

amir khan in his prime had a very good style to bother floyd mayweather hence floyd never gave him a shot. since floyd fully well knew he had to knock khan out or there was a chance of falling behind in the score cards. having said that his style was tailor made for kell brook as kell brook is a pressure boxer. fighter that come forward are the ones that always troubled khan

@Bigdog93-wu3wx , Floyd saw a Prime Khan play with Devon Alexander and thought "forget that, im never risking my reputation looking bad against that version of Khan" real boxing fans know Floyd ducked Khan. By the Algieri fight Khan was past it, he was never the same fighter after, even Crawford fought a faded Khan, not the version that beat Collazo and Alexander. Both Floyd and Crawford are beating faded fighters i Don't know why they get so much credit for beating fighters past their best smh.

@otey7326 Terrible boxer? Hes never been outboxed in his prime, and he was more entertaining than Mayweather ever was, even Tim Bradley ducked a prime Khan, loads of fighters avoided Khan at his peak for a reason.

This guy is the biggest clout chaser I’ve ever seen. His whole career all he ever done is take selfies with people who are much more famous than him and post them on social media to make people think he is some kind of A list celebrity. Had his boxing career went the way he wanted and perform in the ring the way he wanted and not get knocked out left, right and centre. Then he wouldn’t have turned out to be a top level clout chaser. It is his failure in the ring that caused him to be a clout chaser. His brutal knockouts were wake up calls and made him accept and digest that he is not an elite level fighter and never will be, thus the clout chasing.
