- K-Pop stans are known for causing chaos on the internet and on stan twitter, stans will do anything to promo their favourite group. From Loona, to WJSN and even BTS, over the years stans have created some pretty crazy campaigns in order to promote their faves to locals and these often go viral by tricking unsuspecting locals. This is the story of Korean 'Billionaires' and 'Richest Couple Alive' Ha Soo Young and Kim Ji Woo hoax, made viral by Orbits (Loona stans).

The saddest part of this, is that Chuu (Kim Jiwoo) just revealed that she hasn’t been paid a cent since her debut in LOONA, despite her being the new face of Korean advertisements. The other 11 girls are unfortunately in the same boat, but not popular enough to gain a solo following 😢
They have left now. Everyone now hopes that they will eventually get back together in some way to work on stuff for Loona

This is so hilarious yet so sad... Orbits are soo creative when it comes to tricking non-stans and getting people to stream, and in this case it worked so well but all along they were giving flop berry creative sm money
The video links at 1:55 and 2:08 are incredibly educational and I urge everyone to watch them. I cannot belief these two young, lesbian entrepreneurs are constantly overshadowed in our society.

Retrospectively, this piece of history right here is a sad irony. If you didn't know, the group they are in which is loona is suffering from a massive debt considering this tweet saying they are billionaires. I just find it sad that they're losing Chuu (one of the girls in the photo) as well.
BBC have paid their debts and settled their lawsuits already. I thought everything was doing good during Queendom but with all the issues surrounding Chuu. I just hope they will still continue activities with Chuu in their future comebacks even if she's signed to a new company. I just hope BBC will breakeven by the end of this year due to their tours and activities and finally pay the girls back by 2023
What’s even more ironic about this is that several members of Loona has came out to say that they have not gotten paid, at all..

they're not in debt anymore though (and nothing about chuu is actually confirmed so...)
they aren't suffering that much debt, most of those were rumors. however, the loona girls did come out to day they haven't gotten paid at all since debut
loona isn't in debt, their company BBC was in debt a few months ago but their debt is paid off

I think everyone should give Butterfly at least one open minded listen in their lives.
As someone who's not the target audience of kpop, who has listened to many songs, rhythms and languages of music over many years, this song is among my favorite songs of all time.
The place it takes you to, if you let it, is wonderful. All the images it conjures on the mind are breathtaking, and how impressive it is that once you read the lyrics they could take you there without you speaking the language.
I got into Loona because of butterfly a couple years ago and since then I travelled 3550 miles to see them live, I've woken up at ungodly hours to see an activity or a concert they are doing, I got to greet (but not meet) them, and I don't regret a single day of it.
Their talents and the quality of human beings they are really deserves to be praised and more well known.

I'm so glad Orbits will never let the internet forget this. Also your pronunciation is mostly fine, but if a syllable in Korean starts with a W, the W is like 97% silent. So Kim Ji-Woo is pronounced "Kim Jee-oo" with a TINY bit of a W sound between the two syllables.
I remember using this copypasta for WJSN Chinese members and ppl really believed me 😭
A good point to realize is the culteral differences in South Korea in regards to hand holding: between people of the same gender, it is generally seen as a sign of close friendship rather than of romantic attachment. Close friends who are both women are not uncommon to be seen holding hands in korea. It's what made the video seem so convincing to a mostly western audience who would perceive it differently
this hoax is the thing that got me into kpop so kudos to orbits for:
