Exactly. This really works. I build like this all the time. Currently I am in between two big clans and fancy bases have popped up all around me and they all were raided immediately. But I'm still there hanging off the side of a cliff in a janky noob base. I've only been raided once by an eco raider soft sided in, he stole 1k cloth and like 300 metal frags. Happened to destroy a shotgun trap on that same wall he destroyed so he got 50 shotgun shells too. So that was annoying, but not really not a big deal. Placing my wall inside out was accidental at first. But I placed wrong again and put up new shotgun trap aimed at the wall. But no one has tried again. Dude keeps stealing my pumpkins though.

I watch a lot of video's like this; epic stories of Rust streamers surviving though a wipe. This video has gotta have one of the best plots so far. Instead of the standard [build, pvp, raid, end] formula that 90% of the videos have, the narrative in this one of stealth and misdirection is a breath of fresh air!
If I recognize that my base is leaning towards being raided as it is one of the last ones around, I will build 3-4 other bases around the area and use a variety of skins on those bases to make them all look different with different designs, just to make the bigger clan base use up their boom first.

Me and my buddies killed that server maybe 2 years ago it never recovered since then. My buddy sensory is an audio engineer is always on that server for some reason. The guy has like 14k hrs
