Thanks to their original power and strength being taken away by the Unknown God, they had to rely on many people/creatures/natural reactions to happen. For example, if Childe can never run out of energy when he uses Foul Legacy then the traveler would have been good as dead in the Jade Chamber
Honestly canon traveler can use every elements at once so it's just hoyoverse making them weak asf in game to make other characters take important roles in the story (my opinion, to be taken as a grain of salt)

Tbh, I expected that Mc couldn’t use elements anymore since Paimon isn’t by our side in Twisted Wonderland so we have no one to channel Elemental power through us + the magic in Twisted isn’t the same as in Genshin, I think But it’s still a great video!
And the sibling can work either way, even if both of them don’t have a solid gender It just has to be obvious who the abyss sibling is in certain videos, you could type it out underneath the videos on screen for an example And the abyss sibling is also a must since it’s Mc’s goal to find them, so you could say that somehow in a battle where both of them where there, enough power was generated between the twins for both of them to travel to another world and now they are here, but separated again

I think since the traveller gets their element power from the statues, and they didn’t have it before entering the world, they wouldn’t have it in Twisted Wonderland since there is an absence of archons and statues. So their magic power might depend on if their power they used in the opening scene is still sealed or not.
