What a GREAT idea!! Even though I like the wood grain showing through the paint, if you just don’t like it, there are very narrow, decorative accent strips of wood you can buy at Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc that might look great for the plain silver pieces. I think it’s called “toe molding” but not 💯 sure that’s what it’s called. Just take a walk at your local home improvement store, so many different kinds of wood pieces you can use, especially in the diy picture framing area. Thank you for, yet another, fabulous idea!!❤❤❤
You are a wonderful inspiration. I love watching your videos. I am wondering if a wind chime kit with the small aluminum tubes might work instead of the wood. I am going to try to recreate this with them and see. Thank you for posting so many amazing videos to help inspire and teach us viewers.
I love that video color I looked at the dollar Tree I call it that don't ask me why anyway I couldn't find those dowel rods and we don't have what you call it Dollarama or something like that here in Kansas that I know of at least not anywhere close to me so if I wanted to do that I'm going to have to improvise and go to Ace or home number or somewhere and buy the long ones and then cut them which I improvise most my life. Just hope and I wouldn't have to do it anymore LOL. I have looked at pretty much all your videos on this and I love the way they turned out I did do the blue glitter one and glass kind of got a little heavy handed on the glass and the decoupage was just picking my stuff up and I even started and shook it and then halfway through I go to pour some out and a big goal booger whatever you want to call it huge came out on my canvas not happy. In fact I should take it back to Walmart for I do have a bigger bottle for the same price that I got at Hobby Lobby. I was thinking maybe shims from the hardware store might work and splitting them down the middle for different widths and gluing some together for different heights. Or just waiting for Dollarama to get more in 😂 They will, eventually 😅
