I stumbled upon your channel looking for this technique but you have so many valuable videos. A gold mine channel right here! Wishing you more success on your journey!! For anyone who wants the effect to trace around your object, go to customize core and key frame the 'end offset' attribute from 0 to 100 :)
I saw many videos of using saber , all of them were using either pen tool or the eclipse tool and i thought rotoscope was not possible with saber. My confidence gone done and then I just saw your video and finally my confidence got boosted. Thank you so much !
Whenever I try auto tracing it takes 10 mins to do, comes up with (unironically) 40 error messages and it doesn't work. (Although it did work the one time). I'm so sad because this was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks anyway. EDIT: Never mind! I missed one step!! I dragged "the workarea" sliders down, just at the start and end of my layer. And it processed SO quickly and works perfectly. Thank you!!
Glad you were able to figure it out before I was able to get back to you! No problem if you have any difficulty’s feel free to reach out via IG @Krazyproduction
Thank you bro, just a quick question, this was relatively easy to do but how on earth do you remember all these steps to create some of these effects in ae,I literally just have a word document and save the videos of effects and watch when I need them because some effects are ridiculously long to recreate, and to Mae matters worse after updates some controls aren't even there anymore from tutorials made about 3 to 4 years ago.
Your welcome, I’m glad you found this tutorial useful. Too answer your question honestly muscle memory. Your on the right track by saving them easily but another way I have learned and remembered effects is downloading music videos from established artists and practice effects I just learned throughout the whole video. Also a quick note most of the effects done on AE (easy to hard) usually come from a few basic effects provided to us in the effects panel, so focus on those fundamentals and learn what they can do so later down the line if you want to create a new similar effects you know how to get the base effect done the rest after that is pure creativity and messing with values. Hope this can answer your question!
@@krazyproduction875 Really appreciate that That advise honestly...I will pay more attention to learning and practising and mastering the fundamentals and what they all do thank you.

Red layer won’t show
When you are doing " Auto Trace ".. select the "Apply to new layer" and red layer will show up
it always crashes when i want to auto trace it idk why
same
Nvm, you just gotta wait it out
Thats weird, were you able to solve it?
