@@JerichoSteele 6 years is a really short knighthood, especially in peacetime. Even Obi Wan took 10 years and only got the promotion that quickly because of the events of Ep II.

In the context of the Star Wars: Darth Bane: Path of Destruction novel, cortosis ore is portrayed as highly unstable and can combust violently, which suggests it has a flammable or explosive nature when not handled correctly. The witches appear to have made base in a mine. Possibly on the same planet Smiley Oren is and where he may have mined the cortosis
The writer should be telling us this! You clearly care and have a passion for the lore. You found an in universe reason that what happened could happen. For someone watching the show that hasn't read the novel though, a stone cave caught fire. The show should tell us that.

@Nediablo do t get me wrong, there is some poor writing here. I think the show is taking aim at social workers. The Jedi are the social workers. E03 showed what happen. E07 showed it from the jedi pov. From the jedi pov the children were being "abused." E03 showed that the jedi pov was obscured.
This show seems to be talking about cultural differences, prejudices, and accountability.
The jedi were told not to advance. Because of the obscured pov, they thought the children were in danger. The 2 guys went in guns blazing, which escalated the situation out of hand. Scarface deleted himself for accountability of his actions. Captain squidgames keeps saying the same thing about what he would say if the girl was still alive and he keeps talking about coming clean to the council. Also, the other kid was put in "the system" which failed her.
There's a lot going on in this show. They also appear to be using deeper star wars lore than the layman would understand.
These anti show youtubers do appear to be bigots and alt right agitators.
Just look up the funding they post at the end of the credits.
Dei checklists arent cheap to fill out. After that headlamp and all her friends need a nice wage. Cant forget lunches when the company is paying.

I think I figured out why all the stone burned. The whole structure was heavily infused with the Dark Side of the Force from all the space witches and their rituals. The Dark Side Force was released by the fire and the Dark Side Force helped the fire spread along and through everything. 😄

I've seen people point out that, even though the witches were hostile towards the Jedi, they were understandably angry at intruders (the Jedi) who broke into their home. On the other hand, I've seen people argue back and forth that Sol not knowing the disposition of the witches and seeing how angry and uptight Koril was made it tactically wise for him to sneak in rather than announcing himself and that seeing Anisaye knock the little girls down with the Force/Thread so that they came within inches of cracking their heads on the stairs gave him adequate reason to fear for their safety and gave the Jedi justification for breaking in.
People familiar with Extended Universe have said that it's been previously established that tar Wars universe witches turn into smoke to teleport and that Anisaye was trying to teleport herself and Mae to safety when the situation between the witches and Jedi was dangerously escalating. However, Leslye Headland herself said that Anisaye was trying to "transform herself and Mae into the Force in a way that doesn't kill them" - in other words: attempting to become one with the Force without having to die first, and she cited Jecki's previous line about it being "an honor to see anything become one with the Force" to rationalize that.
