I remember this first appearance of Peggy Mitchell. When they recast her, as Barbara Windsor, I kept thinking how much the original actress actually physically LOOKED so much more, like Grant and Phil.
Glenda Mitchell was originally supposed to be played by Jill Gascoine but she declined it. The casting was then switched to Glynis Barber, which I thought was a real success!
