Q : If the installment amount is say 10,00,000(Ten Lakhs) and I paid to the seller after deducting the TDS amount say(9,90,000, considering 10,000 will go towards TDS). How much should I mention in the form 26QB for the box " Amount Paid/Credited Currently" ? Should it be 10 lakh? or 9,90,000?

go to incometax.gov.in, login with PAN, go to e pay tax and there you can see history tab from where you can download challan
A nasty harassment for the buyers. Many people can not buy flat of their choice due to this nasty harassing rule.
