- Sally wants to hold a celebration now that Kristen and Tony are back together, but Tony reminds Sally that Kristen’s family isn’t exactly supporting their relationship. Kristen tells her father that she and Tony spoke with Tony’s doctor and if they follow certain guidelines, they can be intimate without fear of transmitting the disease. At Kristen’s urging, Eric tracks down Tony to discuss the matter. After assuring Eric that he will be responsible and keep Kristen safe, Tony asks Eric for his blessing. Brooke can’t believe Stephanie is berating her after the ordeal Stephanie put her through, but Stephanie is just too happy that the war against Brooke is finally over and Brooke lost.

I mean what actually would she have them thrown in jail for? I oversee a team of regulatory compliance attorneys for a major federal agency, and even I can’t think of anything 😂. Being mean to Brooke isn’t a crime. At most she could bring a civil suit for costs incurred in relocating to Paris (which Forrester probably paid for anyway, so even then only the company has standing to bring suit, and the costs of moving one person wouldn’t be enough to warrant legal action). Familial alienation civil suit? Doubtful, given Stephen’s active participation and Beth’s concurrence. Maybe a suit for emotional harm? Possibly, although hard to prove and quantify. But jail? Brooke is, as usual, full of it.

After nobody took Brooke to court over ownership of Belief and she just got majority ownership of Forrester (despite Forrester money paying for the lab and all the materials therein for Brooke to have the opportunity to create Belief), I give up on what actually is legal or not in this soap.🙄😅
She should have called the police. Would have loved to see her prove any of this. Hopefully police arrest BROOKE and throw her in jail for wasting police time

How much sense does Stephanie's statement make today: with Brooke as a role model, the children could and could only be harmed. Hope cannot explain why she is acting like this today and is chasing after a married man. Everyone knows the answer.
Flannery is pure brilliance! Her Stephanie vs. Brooke scenes will NEVER be matched or topped! After what Brooke did to poor Macy (and her marriage to Thorne) out of "love", I 100% lived for scenes of Stephanie tearing into her!
I love Sally; she’s so good-hearted. When Tony told her he was with Kristen, her happy, warm little smile was so genuine. I’ve said it before, but DC is as effective in the small moments as the big, bold, grand ones.
Eric is still creepy AF, but when he spoke about losing colleagues in the fashion industry to AIDS, his upset seemed real and understandable. They should have shown more of this earlier.
Yes, I agree! Sally/DC has this warmth about her that very few other characters on the show have.
And Eric talking about losing all these colleagues to AlDS would have more believable if we'd actually seen Eric interact with any colleagues at all outside his own family. In the 80s there would sometimes be dinner parties at the mansion with lots of guests from all over the world, but those days are long gone.

Some fans consider this to be the original ending of the series. It is the natural conclusion to the stories set in place by Bell Sr. and finished by Bell Jr.: Brooke has run out of Forrester men, Ridge rejects Brooke’s adultery for the final time, Ridge returns to his wife and children, and Stephanie tells Brooke “I won.” The Bold and the Beautiful could have ended at 19:24
… but from here onward, the show goes in a direction that is purely Bradley Bell, and feels removed from the early years when it was a sophisticated daytime drama. Ridge is revealed not be Eric’s son, Brooke has a baby with her daughter’s husband Deacon, Ridge and Bridget have a romance, Taylor “dies,” and most of the relationships are like a revolving door of endless pairings. None of the stakes have any real impact on the show anymore. 2001-2002 marks the end of the original series. This episode was the end of B&B 1.0 before it became B&B 2.0

If Bell Sr. had been a telenovela writer, I agree. But Bell Sr. has been a soap writer and they never have a clear ending in mind, never anticipate their soap to end.

@@francescofabbri7454 Brooke didn’t end up with Ridge, she ended up with an imposter named Thorsten Kaye. The real Ridge ran off to be with Taylor and left a decoy in his place.
This is such a great point! For me, the Bill Bell era ended earlier than this (the long-form storytelling, integrated plots and careful characterizations and archetypes mostly disappeared by the mid 90s) but you're right that this is where we can say Brad took a wrecking ball to his father's story structure by retconning Ridge's paternity.

Ummm OK... She was in Paris for, what, a week? Bridgit has been married to Deacon for months. The most Brooke did was try to set up a conjugal session for Deacon and Amber in the empty hospital room across the hall from her daughter. Other than that, she gave Bridigt birth control and then went about her normal 9 - 5 of chasing after Ridge.
Anyways, now Brooke sure is going to do something about Deacon and Amber, all right 😕

I think it's because of Susan's Dominant presence! KKL Downplays Brooke because in the End Brooke always felt small and afraid near Stephanie, but that's just my theory

Susan Flannery is a superior actor to the whole cast of the show. KKL is a capable actress and underrated. The written material given to her is not always good but she makes it work. She is also unfairly judged because of her character Brooke, who people love to hate. She’s still an impressive actress.
HT never got nominated for Emmy, but people in here are talking about WHY SF shines?!? 😂 Because of KKL!! 😅

They worked because Susan is in those scenes

The only reason Brooke has that house is that Ridge bought it for her in their first marriage. Wonder if he has buyers remorse. That is how the Logan women get their men, by an opening in the marriage, like Hope with Finn in 2024. The men must have gotten riding the Brooke train This conversation at the end with Brooke & Stephanie needs to be done with Steffy & Hope
I miss this era of the Bold and Beautiful so much. So many good memories of watching these episodes with my family.

KKL is not a thespian but she embodies the role of Brooke! She understands the character and her motivation. An actress whose able to make the audience feel different kinda emotions for her character. Is doing her job well. Not to mention she has believable chemistry with her screen partners.

Stephanie talks about integrity but remember she tricked eric into marrying her when she was pregnant with masimo's child, ridge.
Stephanie talks about right and wrong, she thinks she can do anything to protect her family, even if it is devastating other people. Integrity means trying to live without hurting anyone, if you are mature but Stephanie is not. She is different from Brooke, but she is not better at all. We will see this very well, when it comes out that Eric is not the father of Ridge and she used her pregnancy to be married by Eric. But she knew he wasn't the father and she lied all these years.

Ridge's paternity is a huge re-write. Two Bridget's paternity test confirmed it.

While I enjoy how Stephanie is lashing out at Brooke and Brooke was in the wrong with her plans to "reclaim" Ridge, the scandals in the family are not only her fault. It takes two (or three in this case) to tango. Eric was the aggressor in pursuing Brooke, then holding on to her when she begged to leave. Ridge has been stringing Brooke along all these years. And Thorne, he fought for her and resisted all the naysayers to be with her.
When I originally watched the show, up to this point, I rooted for Brooke and Ridge. But, what she does next with Deacon, disgusted me forever.
Eric’s funny that man can’t go without sex. What is he talking about? He wouldn’t know how to that’s why he gets young women all the time to Merried because he hast to have sex. there’s more to love and wanting to be with somebody and not having sex if your husband or wife is sick and can’t have sex. Well you’re still gonna love them. You’re still gonna be with them companionship, and caring for would be able to do that so I always went out on Stephanie.
