if i'm being honest i loved that they got this ending tho, it hurt to watch but yonghwa literally best boy ever the way he reacted when he finally understood what was going on! he's such a good friend, he got so worried and cried on the spot...come on, how many guys would actually reacted this way? i loved it!
That was very moving. I loved to see that ending for them. In some way it was rather realistc, because falling for a straight friend usually ends up unreciprocrated. However, the way his friend reacted was a very mature way which happens rather seldom in reality.
I need a big longer complete bl kdrama like this, but the short one will do for now 🥲

This is what it's like, you love your same-sex friend so much but they mean everything to you so you can't lose them. Luckily for me my best friend and I both have been in love with each other since middle school and once we finally said something it was high school but I lived too far away, and she had a gf. I feel you! It's hard to be in love and in the closet. Especially if you grew up not even knowing that same-sex attraction existed like I did. It comes with so much internalized homophobia. You feel like shit for your feelings. During my straight days when I also liked my ex-bestie, I would hoe around, go to bed convincing myself that I wasn't disgusted by myself after that when I actually was and had to scrub myself clean multiple times to feel better. Then after some gay ed and therapy for being mentally fucked up, I came out to my bestie and also added that I was into her( not that I would date if she liked me too, too much of a pussy to that yet). She bounced because it was too much drama for her. I literally just started exploring my sexuality but I hope I get clarity and the courage to date girls after I'm more comfortable with myself.

I ended up staying a virgin until I was 21, until I moved in with my girlfriend and bestie, and the I realized what attraction was xD. I grew up thinking homosexuality was terrible because my mom thought my stepdad was sleeping with guys and would scream about it so I was convinced that it was only guys etc
