Born with total recall-school was incredibly easy-and the pursuit of money and status was never part of my social perspective. Actually, I️m usually the quirkiest one out of my friend group and am easily labeled the “funny” friend. On the way you guys said we dress, that was spot on for me. That could have to do with the fact that many people around our age who are cap risings have uranus/jupiter/and or neptune in the 1st as well. Those are all planets that could make someone being more open to acting silly! Or if you don't have those it could be an aspect to your rising. ok..you're batting a thousand on the "practical clothing " for me (Capricorn Rising here) I like to be comfortable, but never "frumpy"....I do prefer to "read" as "put together" but don't like my clothing to be "attention getting". I take the "practical" thing as far as I possibly can by choosing clothing that works for "most" occasions...buying a bunch of them....and maybe only varying the colors (which are generally subdued with just a small splash of color. Basically I've found two brands of black yoga pants that are the perfect fabric for comfort...good fit...can be dressed up or down...flex well with just about any movement without requiring constant "adjustment" (saves a lot of time!)....and I can (and do!) wear them everywhere...dressed up...dressed down...for yard work...out to dinner...work...anything really. and then I have just two or three types of shirt brands that pretty much serve all of the same purposes, with the exception of a few "more dressy" tops for when that's needed. Goals: Comfort, convenience, classic, non-frumpy and non-attention-getting. And that thing you were describing about having moon in Cancer with Capricorn rising (me again) that is soooo true. I feel things so deeply but also feel it's a total impractical and time wasting indulgence to "go there" when there are clearly more pressing tasks/responsibilities to contend with.

I have First House in Capricorn. So technically Cap rising. I definitely have the appearance of nice eyebrows, teeth, and very sharp bone structure from head to toe overall. But the rest of my chart follows Aquarius rising, with the exception of Cancer back to back in the 6th and 7th house. I WAS so ambitious in school trying to win every award I could, but my grades were all over the place, mostly bc I was a huge failure in mathematics and no one would help place me in the level I could learn and achieve. (For some reason I was placed in excelled math in 7th grade and I was stuck on that track through high school, even though I got D's or E's every single semester!). Anyhow, it was around 8th grade that I REALLY started manifesting A.D.D. I am one of the messiest, disorganized people I know (I am also Cancer Sun and Aries moon so that probably doesn't help). Anyway. I wish I were a true Cap rising through and through sometimes. Being a half Aquarius rising is awesome too as far as being able to think futuristic and scientifically. It's just that, damn, sometimes I wish I could be completely one or the other so I could actually accomplish things in life. (One thing of note is that the main Aquarius rising trait that affects me that I did not see covered in the Aqua Rising video is that my nervous system is very sensitive, particularly to cold weather. Oh, I was also going to touch on the many different jobs I've had over the past decade and how when my new employer first meets me, they seem so excited to have me. I could always see that they feel so much confidence and hope in the job and responsibilities they think I can take on, right off the bat. My appearance gives that impression, I guess, but inside I'm always like, "Noooo, I know I look like can do a lot but really I can't produce what you think your seeing.". It take a week or two for them to figure that out and I can see their gradual disappoint, and I understand it bc I am definitely disappointed with myself as well. With my particular A.D.D. symptoms, I work best doing the same task over and over with little interruption or working in a team. I have a decent little job in the manufacturing of welding metal auto parts with robots. I get to work at my own station all day doing the same thing, loading robots, watching robots weld and packing the parts. I'm happy to have what I have. My bosses have accepted my work flow over the past 2 years, although they did think I was capable of a lot more my first year there. I myself avoided doing more also bc of my aversion to paperwork and inability to multitask. 😕
I think I have more of the physical characteristics from my cap rising. I have some prominent bones specially the teeth. I have almost been bullied because of my rabbit teeth, now I laugh about it. For me Saturn like a ruler is about maturing as you said, and when you do that you learn to accept yourself, to stop the restrains that your own ascendant gives to you and make yourself/persona work with your own essence.

Not gonna lie, people already think we're weird BEFORE asking for people's birthday. But yeah, we just flat out ask most of the time. Sometimes if we don't know the person well enough or want to find out asap we stalk them on social media (like facebook) to find their birthday. Birth times always harder. I find though that now that people know us as people super into astrology, it's not as weird because they know they'll get to find out about themselves so they're interested-lol.

That could have to do with the fact that many people around our age who are cap risings have uranus/jupiter/and or neptune in the 1st as well. Those are all planets that could make someone being more open to acting silly! Or if you don't have those it could be an aspect to your rising. ok..you're batting a thousand on the "practical clothing " for me (Capricorn Rising here) I like to be comfortable, but never "frumpy"....I do prefer to "read" as "put together" but don't like my clothing to be "attention getting". I take the "practical" thing as far as I possibly can by choosing clothing that works for "most" occasions...buying a bunch of them....and maybe only varying the colors (which are generally subdued with just a small splash of color. Basically I've found two brands of black yoga pants that are the perfect fabric for comfort...good fit...can be dressed up or down...flex well with just about any movement without requiring constant "adjustment" (saves a lot of time!)....and I can (and do!) wear them everywhere...dressed up...dressed down...for yard work...out to dinner...work...anything really. and then I have just two or three types of shirt brands that pretty much serve all of the same purposes, with the exception of a few "more dressy" tops for when that's needed.
Goals: Comfort, convenience, classic, non-frumpy and non-attention-getting.
And that thing you were describing about having moon in Cancer with Capricorn rising (me again) that is soooo true. I feel things so deeply but also feel it's a total impractical and time wasting indulgence to "go there" when there are clearly more pressing tasks/responsibilities to contend with.

I have First House in Capricorn. So technically Cap rising. I definitely have the appearance of nice eyebrows, teeth, and very sharp bone structure from head to toe overall. But the rest of my chart follows Aquarius rising, with the exception of Cancer back to back in the 6th and 7th house. I WAS so ambitious in school trying to win every award I could, but my grades were all over the place, mostly bc I was a huge failure in mathematics and no one would help place me in the level I could learn and achieve. (For some reason I was placed in excelled math in 7th grade and I was stuck on that track through high school, even though I got D's or E's every single semester!). Anyhow, it was around 8th grade that I REALLY started manifesting A.D.D. I am one of the messiest, disorganized people I know (I am also Cancer Sun and Aries moon so that probably doesn't help). Anyway. I wish I were a true Cap rising through and through sometimes.
Being a half Aquarius rising is awesome too as far as being able to think futuristic and scientifically. It's just that, damn, sometimes I wish I could be completely one or the other so I could actually accomplish things in life.
(One thing of note is that the main Aquarius rising trait that affects me that I did not see covered in the Aqua Rising video is that my nervous system is very sensitive, particularly to cold weather. Some astrology books I've read that Aquarius risings prefer and do well living in cold climates, but they must keep their bodies WARM. This has been very true for me since age 12. My toes and fingertips turn purple/blue quick if not warm.)

Oh, I was also going to touch on the many different jobs I've had over the past decade and how when my new employer first meets me, they seem so excited to have me. I could always see that they feel so much confidence and hope in the job and responsibilities they think I can take on, right off the bat. My appearance gives that impression, I guess, but inside I'm always like, "Noooo, I know I look like can do a lot but really I can't produce what you think your seeing.". It take a week or two for them to figure that out and I can see their gradual disappoint, and I understand it bc I am definitely disappointed with myself as well. With my particular A.D.D. symptoms, I work best doing the same task over and over with little interruption or working in a team. I have a decent little job in the manufacturing of welding metal auto parts with robots. I get to work at my own station all day doing the same thing, loading robots, watching robots weld and packing the parts. I'm happy to have what I have. My bosses have accepted my work flow over the past 2 years, although they did think I was capable of a lot more my first year there. I myself avoided doing more also bc of my aversion to paperwork and inability to multitask. 😕

I think I have more of the physical characteristics from my cap rising. I have some prominent bones specially the teeth. I have almost been bullied because of my rabbit teeth, now I laugh about it. For me Saturn like a ruler is about maturing as you said, and when you do that you learn to accept yourself, to stop the restrains that your own ascendant gives to you and make yourself/persona work with your own essence.

I do relate to a lot of this. But the “structure” theme in my Capricorn rising is pretty warped cuz I have Capricorn in my 1st and 12 house, so a lot of 12 house stuff leaks into my rising sign. I think it is why it took me a long time to even understand what means to be responsible. I’ve always known the word, but like I have always struggled with identifying what responsibility is and feels like and looks like.
It is something that has always been emphasized in my life too. My parents were always on my ass about not being responsible. Even to this day I don’t think of myself as responsible and really don’t have that impression on others.

Not gonna lie, people already think we're weird BEFORE asking for people's birthday. But yeah, we just flat out ask most of the time. Sometimes if we don't know the person well enough or want to find out asap we stalk them on social media (like facebook) to find their birthday. Birth times always harder. I find though that now that people know us as people super into astrology, it's not as weird because they know they'll get to find out about themselves so they're interested-lol.

I find Capricorn and cancer not compatible at all... I have 2 sisters who are cancer suns and they each married a cap sun. I feel in the beginning they might seem to have lots of chemistry (after all they are the mother and father figure in zodiac signs) but cancer is to emotional for a cap.. they can clash heavily with each other.

And I've read that before that your ascendant is an idea of what your parents saw you as growing up. So Aries ascendant child might have heard growing up their parents describing them as the independent child and Capricorn adcedent as the responsible one. So yea you guys were right about growing up in a really structured home where I was taught to push it to my limits, remained focused on a goal, and to be wise about my decesions ( mostly by my dad. His sun sign is Aries too) but It was always emphasized to stay humble as well and to me it does take off the value of something when you're flashy about it.
