A little help to clear your confusion, so for round 4 it's actually 1 dc in 1st two stitches that is after chain 2 you'll dc in 1st stitch and then the second and after that you'll do an increase in the third one and you'll continue to follow that pattern so that'll make it 48 hope it helps!!!
