I was there about 26 years ago before people were putting vids on you tube about it. It was absolutely paradise and nothing like Goa as described by this vid. I was lucky enough to be there for a full moon party which still remains one of the most memorable nights I have ever experienced. We rented a mud hut just to put our bags in and slept in the tree's at the edge of the beach around a camp fire with a dozen or so other travellers for about a month. Swam every morning trying to get close to the dolphins that passed by daily at the same time every day, but sadly they avoided us and kept their distance. Gokarna the town, about 20 minute walk away is one of the places that makes India special. It looks more commercial now but still worth a visit as long as it doesn't feel like Goa.
😆 To funny, a Goa coffee mug😆 Hey Chris and Carolina. We loved the beach vibe you had going on. I had to laugh when you said you and Carolina had to head back to Goa. I think the place your at is just as chill. I do have to say I love your drone footage and your editing of it. Carolina, tell Chris to stop filming other women😆 Till next time you two, be happy, healthy, and peace✌
Om reminds me of Buzios (Brazil) in the old days before it got really developed and upscaled. It had expensive boats sitting out there (after Bridgette Bardot visited) but it was otherwise a raw, sleepy fishing village then like Om appears to be now. This was all before Carol's time.

Hi guys, u don't have to go back to Goa to go to Cochin. U ppl can travel down south to mangalore n from there u can get plenty of options to go to Cochin. Or from gokarna go to hubli (4hrs bus ride n from there u can get bus or train to Cochin.
It gets quite crowded in evening but it's beautiful, I loved half Moon beach and paradise beach. I was there for a month last year. But I really didn't track it was super hot in march and April. I hired a bike there and loved it. Also go to Murudeshwar ( by train ) and Yana if u can.
India has many more beautiful places like Manali Kasol.. south indian Munnar Ooty Varkala beach .. alpuzha back waters pondicherry...so many beautiful hills and beach
It is lovely to see how India grows in people...leaving the good and bad experiences, one will always be a winner to take back the memories, yeah that invaluable asset!
Hi gokarna beaches are awesome if you still in gokarna visit badami hampi and yellammagudda you can see here lot of Indian culture and you will enjoy it
Goa looks like a magical wonderland. It seems safe and fun to go!!!! When I go to India, I'll make sure to make a visit when I get there. Thank you for exploring and sharing this part of the world!!!! Would you recommend visiting Goa first out of all the place you've been in India? If so, why? If not, what would you recommend?
That drone shots are amazing..It is very close to my native place..Om beach is not the same..15 years ago..it was very less crowded, gorgeous views..Now Kudle beach is good but not much time..that will also be spoilt soon..
There are many beaches on the Western Coast of India which is about 4000 km long. But I hate the heat. Rather would travel in northern Indian mountains.
Avoid too many experiments with street food in 1 day, drink mineral water..u will be fine..we also suffer sometimes but mostly the reason behind is drinking water..
Great video, we are heading to India next week, thanks for the advice on the beach’s, looking forward to checking them out. Did you have any issues using your drone in India?
i think there are very few channels who actually visited Karnataka and said that Karnataka is the top destination for travel.. but kerala is over rated as its tourism advertisement is good.. i suggest you to watch "BBC wild Karnataka"
Kerala is not an over rated place..I think you have you have to reconsider your statement...or may be ,you have not visited Kerala for sure..I have been to Karnataka and most part of India... it's not just my opinion
Omg that drone shot was breathtaking n the music as well (7:52 onwards).i cant wait to go now after watching this!!! Went to Railay after watching your vlog last year :)
I just love your posts / videos/ music , editing, is mesmerising, warm wishes prayers for you and wife! Both look awesome together! Me your biggest fan
Great video! Subscribed to your channel :) Real quality stuff. The beaches look great too. I've been there a few times a couple of years ago. Just curious, which month did you visit Gokarna in?
