      Ayay01 I’m under 50, not British, and I buy marmalade. Plus in the states it’s in pretty most grocery stores so someone is buying it. I’ve run across Lime marmalade too quite a few times.
      Do British people eat garlic jam? Garlic, onion, and pepper jam are all good with peanut butter or hot dogs. My favorite way to eat a hot dog is with kimchi and roasted garlic jam. I bet the whiskey marmalade would work on hot dogs and other types of sausages.

    • @benderboyboy
      @benderboyboy 3 роки тому +9

      @@saiquatabassum6321 Kaya is innately sweet, but aromatic. So you don't actually want to spread it on something else that's already sweet, like pancake. Also, unlike other spreads, it's very grainy, which makes it good for double spreading with butter as it holds the pockets of butter in itself. Which is why traditionally it is served with toasted bread with butter and kaya for the crunch, sweetness, aroma, and saltiness.
      I suggest a salt cracker spread with butter and kaya, layered with a fresh seafood of your choice for an appetizer.

I take orange marmalade, ginger syrup, minced garlic, and dark soy sauce to use as a marinade for pork tenderloin...then during the last 20 minutes of baking, I sprinkle sesame seeds on top such that they get very lightly toasted and stick well to the pork. And Jamie has taught his kids to eat with forks and spoons (well Fin might be around the hand to mouth stage). • @heysaucemikehere1804
      @heysaucemikehere1804 4 роки тому

      serena brown Lmao, what? “Hoes” and “Bro’s” can go either way. For acceptable uses of an apostrophe, one is "The marking as the plural of written items that are not words established in English orthography" for example "P's and Q's".
      Clearly "bro" and "ho" are not standard English, so making them plural via 's is acceptable.
      Here’s someone explaining it a bit better:
      “However, it is so because the word bro is the elided form of brother, like typo, porno or even zoo. Hence, the apostrophe makes more sense here with regard to the word being elided than with the - o ending, again compare with folios, videos, trios and cellos. Inflections in - s before a - o can lead to adding an - e- as with cargoes and volcanoes.
      I don't know if there is a strict rule for the -e- infix, but in the case of elided words it seems unnecessary.
      In the end dictionaries show bro can become bros in the plural. It might just be a matter of style or an orthography in transition. The beautiful thing about living languages, is that you take part in their making. So the choice is yours, I would say.”
      My phone just so happens to autocorrects bros to bro’s, so I kept it that way. Besides, this is UA-cam. If you couldn’t understand what I was saying then you have bigger issues on your hands than a strangers use of apostrophes.
      Hope that helps!
