I really don’t know how Stanley wasn’t fired at any point in the show.
Because according to Michael ‘A good manager doesn’t fire people, he hires people and inspires people’. And let’s be real, most of them should’ve been fired at some point by the end of the show including Michael
He had been there for a while so he had a lot of dirt on Michael. He mentions it when Michael fake fires him. For example Stanley was the only one in the office that knew about Scott's Tots.

Fun fact: everyone’s reaction to that was genuine. They weren’t acting. Michael was just supposed to hug him but decided in the moment to kiss him. That’s why Oscar was so awkward and Stanley looked like he actually cared

I really don't know why I connected with this show so much but it honestly felt like I knew all the characters. The difference between an s tier and a tier show is who you perceive yourself to be, with friends, you're just an onlooker but with the office you're just so much more invested, what an emotional rollercoaster this show is.
