Finally I found some footage of this game on UA-cam. I used to play this game a lot in the past, but since the library stopped renting video games, I haven't played it anymore.
The first time I played this mission, I didn't know WTF I was doing. I started a Punk band (only because of my love of the genre), and could count myself dang lucky to have made it past 100k (I forget by how much; I deleted the screenshot with the original score)... Never mind the fact it took me two songs to chart! :-D So I replayed this after I beat everything else, and I scored 391k. I didn't like how an ad slot didn't run until after the mission ended, so I tried again, and got 402k. I just made a screenshot of the campaign screens (and not of the victory screens, so I don't know the points breakdowns), but all I know, was that I recorded the song with a 15% royalty rate, and chose the smallest advance. (It might have helped I also recorded at the cheapest studio.) Looking back, my personal favorite would have to be the ninth mission. (The Sky Is The Limit.) I think it's because it's a mission that demands the band record more than one song, plus it helps that it has a time limit, so scores can be objectively compared. (11 million is nothing to snort at, but I personally saw wasted potential. Especially since I recorded one song with a low maximum royalty rate, and then I released a song on the same label with what should have been a much higher royalty rate.)
Priscilla Ribeiro I got mine off of Amazon recently and are loving the hell out of it. The only real complaint, is that there's not enough scenarios. (I won't complain about it being too whimsical; my want for serious management sims is my personal preference.) It's well worth the price compared to other games I've gotten. (Such as the modern SimCity on the date of it's release.)
Thanks for this, i loved this game when i was younger
used to love this game as a kid.
Is this still playable on current computers, because I LOVED playing this game and I REALLY want to play it again.
