Gunung Machinchang peak 701m. Elevation gain 822m. Trailhead via Telaga Tujuh Langkawi 6.377557, 99.673977 (⭐ Gunung Machinchang ⭐ Telaga Tujuh ⭐ Langkawi ⭐ Kedah) Gunung Machinchang 10.5-km out-and-back trail near Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. 2nd highest peak in Langkawi. It is built with the oldest rocks in Southeast Asia, and it is here that the oldest 500 million year old fossils were found. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 43 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.

Nice video bro, planning to hike in October. Just want to ask. I understand this gunung can be tough but is it doable? Especially on the last part? Any issue if solo hike?
Hi thanks for dropping by. Yes the last part is tough after the U-turn sign, pretty steep. Always advisable to hike at least in pairs because the trail is pretty quiet after Telaga Tujuh. Have a good one in Oct bro.
