@@ayomiflower well i kept the freeforms for a while and they looked good, i got a retwist not long ago and was humbled by the shrinkage but overall id definately recommended the journey bc the patience i have developed for myself and my hair is genuinely amazing. Try not to vompare yourself to others tho if u also go on the journey as u can get discouraged easily

Been using the sponge for a bit and got some sections going, when do you think its a good time to get a retwist? They aren't locked yet but i don't know when its time to twist em up
im starting mine now i use to have long hair to my neck could of got dreads like i could of trimmed my hair to my eyes nd got it but i had to cut it all down but im starting with plats and its going pretty good

My hair is closer to 4c. For 3c hair it will work, but starting with shorter hair will be a lot easier
