The process of felling trembesi trees tends to use husqvarna 395 XP chainsaws and husqvarna 3120 XP chainsaws, the best wood cutting machines in its class by professional wood chainsaw operators.
After the wood is cut to size, it is directly carried by the 8 woodworkers onto a truck to be sent to Jepara as material for woodworking and furniture such as carved statues, carved chairs and solid trembesi tables.

Who in their Right Mind would fire a Chain Saw up Barefooted, just plain Stupidity. Chain Saw use is pure Common Sense.

I am 71. I have heated with wood since I was 15. Cut down many trees over the years, but have never seen one taken down like this without a hinge cut. But to each his own. He got the tree on the ground and no one was hurt. That’s what counts.

It's leaning so much, so that falling direction is pretty much defined, even without hinge.
Same method with straight up tree and it might fall in about any direction.
This is where you want the hinge, to define, into what direction it falls over.
That guy knows how to saw! and climb! Give him a 10 foot (3 meter) hank of rope to make a sling to tie off with and he would be even better... and safer. Great work! Loading the logs by hand was equally impressive.

What is more dangerous than a leaning tree is a man w/ a chainsaw that doesn't know how to use it..
Umm... he just did a flawless double limb drop 60 feet in the air with a 120cc saw barefoot and one handed..... what makes you think he doesn't know how to use his chainsaw...
Slices of the circumferance of this tree would make a nice little table. Koodos to the skillful tree trimmer.

They obviously do stuff differently over Indo way! Quite amazing really, all that money I spent to do it safely and this just goes to show how easy it is with little technique and safety equipment. I wonder what Reg Coates or August Hunicke would say!

I saw a vid where they filed at 90% and snapped the rakers off.
Saya sering liat klo orang tebang pohon. Nurut sya kebanyakan asal aja. Ya mang sih kli ketidak tauan ato kebutuhan. Apalagi klo jenis kayu bagus. Saya sayang aja liatnya kadang yg mestinya tu pohon ato kayu punya nilai lebih harga bisa jadi mahal klo jeli mngamati. Ya mang ga smua orang klo dri segi seni bisa nilainya belipat, misal kayu potongan bawah tu bisa punya harga tinggivklo di buat barang seni misal meja bangku dll. Jadi jng dirajang dlu diratakan yg cuma jadi kyu bakar. Sayang sya liatnya.
