    I got this wireless IEM from NUX. It tested ok at home through QC and through my Mac/Apollo interface headphone.
    I tested this, this morning at service. We have Aviom IEM. I am usually wired. But this NUX IEM makes a static intermittently. I can hear constant hiss. I know this is not the best IEM around but the review says many of them uses this without any issues.
    I also realize through the media person that we have so many wireless device at the church, Mic, IEM for singers, Camera that uses WIFI. etc. So there might be an interference. This uses 5.8 GHZ protocol. supposedly one of the better ones.

    Cool, I wish they also come in LXR (pro audio) which is what most of us here have who make use of consoles like the X32/M32 for easy connection for monitor mixes.
    And looking forward to when these can be shipped to Nigeria.

    Looks great. How important is line of sight? In our rehearsal I cannot see the back of the mixer where the transmitter should be, it that a problem? If it is I guess I can plug it into an extension cable and place the transmitter higher?

    I have a question not covered in the manual. If you walk away from the stage and turn off your receiver, will the transmitter eventually power off by itself? If not, does it use significantly less battery when on but not connected to the receiver? My concern is, if the transmitter is not in an easily accessible place can you simply turn off the receiver to save battery power, and if you do that will you have to return to the transmitter to power it back up after the break is over, or would you be better off to leave it on and not save the battery?

    I bought one from Amazon…..Had to return it. When ever I played a note on my bass, a very bad buzz no matter what bass I used. Tried through different equipment and stages. No difference. Really wanted to use this. Hoping they get this straightened out.

      Did you try it on your house? I work in a cruise ship, and mine does the same thing, i tought it may be interferance of some kind. With my guitar makes a really bad buzz or hiss noise...even with my keyboard. I think i'm gonna return it

      @@mad37967 home and at rehearsal. Music and signal from the IEM mixer was fine, but when I played my bass, the signal was distorted, no matter what I did. I really wanted to like it, but at $200 it was a deal breaker. Hoping NUX acknowledges this and addresses the issue.

      I have the exact same issue, now on the second set. It seems NUX's idea of fixing the apparently widespread issue is to post a disclaimer on Amazon that it "may not be appropriate for personal silent practice." But some reviewers are reporting great results, so there is clearly a manufacturing issue with these. I'm hoping NUX can address this.

    Just tried mine out this past weekend, I’m only getting audio in one ear….any thoughts? I used the supplied TRS adapter out of the 1/4” aux of my Presonus. No way to pan it, with other units it’s always came equally both ears. There doesn’t seem to be any way to change between stereo and mono like most units….Oh I also tried another pair of headphones so I ruled out my in ears being faulty

  • @krizkibblewhite2351
    @krizkibblewhite2351 Рік тому

    If you want to use more than 1 unit. How can you separate the signals for different aux outputs?
    Because if you turn on 2 or more units they will all sync to each other.
    You couldn't have a 4 piece band all using them and wanting separate mixes.

    1) I may need to use this for over 6 hours in a day with a rehearsal and 2 sets. In that case, can I:
    -Keep the transmitter on but also charging with a USB-C cable
    -Charge the receiver between sets
    2) And if yes, if I turn off the receiver, would it automatically pair if I turn the receiver back on (not touching the transmitter the entire time)?
    3) Alternatively, can I keep both on the entire time and have the transmitter charging with a USB-C cable and also have the receiver charging with a small portable battery pack with a USB-C cable?

    • @bvandijk
      @bvandijk Рік тому +1

      Hi, saw nobody answered your question: I use a similar system for singing and it's awesome. I never want to rehears or perform without it again. I play in a blues band and it tends to get loud, the moment I bought the wireless the band said my voice was more relaxed, less strained. Not hearing yourself sing well is terrible, you tend to sing too loud, straining your voice and not improving quality. I can now sing very soft parts even and still hear myself.
      Any console, also digital ones have analogue outputs. I plug into one of the auxiliary outputs on our mixer.

But when I run it through the wireless set-up every note has distortion in the background. Super disappointed, I took Scott Uhl's advice on this and shouldn't have. That least this is USB-C, it drives me up the wall that my C-5RC is not. Mini and Micro USB should have died years ago. The included cable should be USB-C on both ends, it's 2023. No XLR on this is a real miss, I think. I'd much prefer build in 1/4" and a XLR adapter, 1/8" seems like a complete waste of time, not even phones use that any more.
