Yes, & the adopted girls look like the mom - how cool is that? I am also happy that the bio mom of the adopted girls knows that they are being well taken care of - she deserves a crown for doing what was right for her babies.👧🏼👶🏼👶🏼

Hannah Schaffer they adopted Lydia and Vera is their biological daughter. So they aren't biologically related but are sisters.
I saw this couple on TLC and was thrilled to see them again with all THREE of their GORGEOUS girls! What a beautiful story they have to share, and the girls are as lucky to have the two of them as their parents as THEY are for having these beautiful happy little ladies! Genevieve, Vera and Lydia, I will never forget you...OR your wonderful parents! 😇😇😇

The last time I watched the family, the birth mother didn't want to give Lydia up, I thought they didn't have her. This is so cute!
Chantelle Marie on the episode that just aired this week they went to the hospital to say goodbye to Lydia when they got a text from the birth mother saying sorry it took me so long. Then then got a call from their attorney saying the birth mother was in the office signing over her parental rights.

That's gonna be so cool for their kids. Being able to have a biological sibling to grow up with? I mean, of course her other sister and her parents will be her family on every aspect but biological, but there's still something special about that. They're going to share a really special bond. And imagine that will only help them cope with the adoption when they're old enough to really start grasping it.

I wrote this comment before the story was finished because it was my first feeling. I was unsure about mentioning the Lord because I don't like to push people to believe what I believe as it can turn people off God. A few seconds later the Mum mentioned that God had blessed them and it made me realise that it's okay to say what I believe as long as I don't expect others to have the same belief.

on an other note: why do you get pregnant again if you already gave up on child because you couldn't care fore it yourself. Wouldn't you be extra careful not to get pregnant again?
I guarantee when those two girls are 18 the biological mom will come knocking on the door wanting to be called mom and in their lives,I would tell her NO ,but I'm sure these sweet people will allow her in their home and lives

Your family is beautiful... I just cry every time I hear your story... Tears of joy... tears of hope... tears of happiness and tears of love... I can only empathize with you for your journey and survival with breast cancer... my mom has breast cancer BUT GOD is faithful and HE is so good, my mom is doing well... sometimes better than me 😂... I will continue to pray for your family and those beautiful girls... Take care of them and hold close and dear to your heart always... God has blessed you all so tremendously....! He is an ALL KNOWING, ALL POWERFUL, ON TIME GOD! He may not come when you want him, but HE'S always on time!

I just think it’s so special that not only do they have a biological child but also that there two adopted kids are biological as well. Being adopted I always wanted someone who is biological to me. I have a sister but we aren’t biological so I’m glad there two girls have that bond.
