My Mother was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome last year and it was absolutely horrifying for me because I was all she had and she was all I had, but we got through it together. Even till date, she hasn't fully recovered but is doing much better. So So proud of Varsha for being strong and facing the hardships

That is an absolutely insane physique for a medically healthy person. For someone who recovered from something so severe, its incomprehensible. Love the hard work 💪🏽
Who ever said you won’t get better was a liar… gbs is temporary but is very scary when it hits you… only complication is dying of repiratory failure, thus, requires intubation. I am glad that one incident made you think about life choices and you worked hard to be where you are. Best of luck to you and your family. Live from Canada!

You are wrong because GBS is not temporary, about 90 percent people never fully recover and have residuals for rest of their lives.

@@jaydutta7711That's cause you never dealt with something like that kid. My father suffered from cancer during 2020 and my mom was there with him 24x7. But he treated her like shit after getting recovered. Karma of course hits and he was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2022 and eventually we lost him in October 2022.

I can truly relate to your story and struggles and how your partner stood by you in your difficult days gives strength to get back on feet again. I was not well for 1.5 years and for 8 months was on bed and asked my husband to leave me even my parents wanted him to leave me and should not suffer with me but he stayed and today I am stronger than ever.

This is very inspirational story. Kudos to you for being so brave. But , I think one should also mention the Docs , nurses and physiotherapists involved in your care. It wouldn't have been possible but for them . We Indians have a tendency to blame them when things go wrong and praise everyone but them when things go right .
